Chapter 84

Jessi and the butler didn't have any idea that Fely and her sons were already finished.  They had been standing right behind them the whole time and heard every word they had been talking about as they were telling a story with each other.  After hearing Jessi's story, the contour of everyone's face suddenly changed to sadness.

One by one, they all began taking out all the envelope they had received from Tanaga out of their pocket and start handing it back to the butler.  Even Fely, who had a lot of plans with money at the beginning...But once she heard the story, she began thinking about her daughter's situation in Japan.  Everyone was devastated and feeling guilty to accept what Tanaga had given them.

Everyone began to put the envelope right in front of the butler and then stepped back while quietly put their head was down. The butler suddenly got up from where he was sitting and one by one trying to give it back to them.

"Sister Fely, Arman, Arthur Ariel, Arnold, at Arnel… Come on!  You guys can't do this to me. I could lose my job over this. Sir, Jones specifically ordered me to make sure to give it to all of you.  How am I going to report this to him? " The butler was pleading to them as he spoke. Earlier, he was happily chatting and laughing, and now he was about to cry.

"If you guys were doing this because you guys heard what brother Jessie and I were talking about, come on!  Don't do this. We were only kidding around, and it was all a tale and no truth in it. Don't take it seriously, for everyone has a different life story with each other.

Even if there's a slight possibility of similarity, it would never be the same.  That's why even though Ashley is currently in Japan now, her situation is far from everyone else." He kept on insisting that Ashley's situation is way different than of others. He almost blurts out to them that Ashley is married to Tanaga so that they would take the envelope back.

"Well, if you guys don't want this envelope, that's filled with money.  Well, why don't all of you give it to me? I could buy a lot more medicine for the clinic.  It's a gift from God, and you would decline accepting it." Jessie interjected, so the story would end right there and then.

At first, no one wanted to move, but when Jessie was about to reach for the envelope…. they all moved as fast as a bullet train to get back the envelopes and put them back in their pockets.  That is when the butler was able to breathe freely and smile. 

The Gusman family couldn't take the butler enough as they were leaving.  Jessie gave his cellphone number and address. "Don't forget next month! Next month, make sure that you will be with them, and I will be the one to treat you." Jessie invited the butler on his next trip to the Philippines.

Finally, the Gusman family was able to leave.  The butler was left in front of the hotel while he kept on waving them goodbye, a beautiful smile was plastered on his face. 

"What a lovely family, boss Tanaga sure is lucky to find such a person.  I pray that these two fall madly in love with each other and stayed together..."  He mumbles as he watches the Gusman family vehicle banished from his sight.

Meanwhile, Tanaga and Ashley arrived in Japan.  Ashley was very excited as she stood at the top of the bridge of the yacht as it approached the dock.  The Filipino captain was excited as he explained to Ashley the different equipment on top of the bridge.

When they were near, "Ma'am, would you like to see the dock from here?  Here are binoculars so you can see things from afar." The Captain then gave Ashley the binoculars.

Ashley became more excited when she saw the people at the dock up-close.  She did not notice that Tanaga arrived and suddenly hugged her from the back and held her two hands holding the binoculars.  "Let me see!" He put the binoculars closer to his eyes while still holding Ashley's hands.

This made the Captain smile since this is the first time that he saw his boss with such sweetness. 'Love can really make you do things!  Hahaha!' The Captain thought to himself while watching the couple.

Ashley felt good as Tanaga back hugged her and held her hand.  Because she was already comfortable with Tanaga, she dared to joke around.  "It's my turn! You're unfair. When I am already enjoying myself, then you will get it.  My turn, please!!!" She then turned around so that she was facing Tanaga as she was saying, 'please!'

This was the chance that Tanaga was waiting for, so he suddenly gave her a lovely kiss.  It was so deep that Ashley almost was not able to breathe. Ashley was embarrassed because she knew that Captain was watching them even if she could not see his eyes.  "Tanaga! Stop it!" then she gently hit his arms. 

Tanaga listened to her and stopped kissing her.  He continued to look at the binoculars. A few moments later, he suddenly said as if he was angry, "What the heck is she doing here?"  

Ashley heard this and asked. "Who?  Let me see!" She grabbed the binoculars to see who Tanaga was talking about.

What Ashley saw was a tall, elegant lady.  She was beautiful and about the same age as Tanaga.  Suddenly her chest fluttered, and she worried which she couldn't understand.  She looked back at Tanaga and saw him scowling.

"Who is she?" Ashley asked with some sadness in her eyes.

"That is Ohani Yamaguchi, my childhood friend!" That all Tanaga answered, he then turned around without saying goodbye and walked away...

"What was that all about?" Ashley was dumbfounded with Tanaga's action and was curious.  "What's with the attitude, I only asked who she is?  He didn't have to be mean!"  She mumbles to herself as she quickly followed Tanaga, who looked like he was ready to go to war.  "Tanaga! Wait! Hey!" Ashley ran, almost stumbling.
