Chapter 183 - If only I didn't need you!

"Repeat that? I and I? What is that supposed to mean?" Asked Kai, at lost, what does Ohani mean by that?

"OMG! Where have you been, Kai? I only said 'I and I!' and you don't know the meaning of the word?" She rolled her eyes before she continued explaining what she meant. 

"For your information, 'I and I!' means, I don't know, and I don't care! Hmph!" Exclaim Ohani while still upset when she thinks about Ashley. She couldn't understand why Tanaga would be so enamored with that type of woman. 

The last time they encountered each other, the woman acted like she has rights to Tanaga, which she would never accept even if it killed her. She did not realize that they arrived at their destination already.

The elevator door opened to the upper management floor. This is where the offices of the President, Vice President, CFO, COO, and Director of Marketing who she currently has an appointment with.

They stepped out of the elevator without speaking to each other. As they walked down the aisle, they passed Koji's office and saw Ashley talking to Koji's secretary. Suddenly Ohani's eyebrows rose and thought to stop by.

"Kai, isn't that Koji's office? Why don't we stop by and say hello to him since we still have time anyway." Ohani said as she was still staring at where Ashley busy speaking with Koji's secretary.

Kai followed with a look where Ohani was looking, and he saw Ashley. This time he could see her close up and full side-views as she was facing them as she speaks with the secretary.

'Hmm, It looks like she could be a contender against Ohani. Thank you so much for coming into my cousin's life.' He thought as he gazed back and forth between Ashley and Ohani, Kai knew what Ohani had in mind, but he didn't show any sign. 

"Sure! Why not, it's early yet. We have ample time before our meeting." Said Kai showing teeth as they walked into Koji's office. As they were a few feet away from Ashley, Kai was in deep thought.

'Let see if Tanaga's assistant is a fighter; I could only hope that she has a strong bone to fight Ohani. This way, all my hard work and effort to bring Ohani back to Japan would be for nothing. There's no way in hell that I would let Tanaga benefited from my hard work.' 

The secretary saw Ohani and Kai coming in. She quickly stood up to pay her respects. 

"Good morning President Hanada! Good morning Miss. Yamaguchi!" 

Ashley was shocked to see Ohani and Kai right in front of her. But, she didn't show it and greeted them professionally. She followed Koji's secretary and greeted them with a straight face void of emotion. 

"Good morning President Hanada! Good morning Miss. Yamaguchi!" She didn't bow to show respect, and she only nodded her head. That irritated Ohani, and she's now fuming and ready to bite Ashley's heads off.

Instead of greeting back, "Excuse me! As far as I could remember, you are nothing but an assistant, right?! How come you didn't bow to pay respect to your superiors?" Asked Ohani with a raised voice.

However, instead of responding, Ashley just turned around to go to Koji's office to begin her work. Ohani chased after her, screaming from the top of her lungs.

"Hey, you! What do you think you're doing? I'm not finished with you yet. Did I say you could leave? Come back here! You bitch! Who do you think you are, why? Just because you opened your legs to your boss, you think you're somebody now?!

" Ha! When he gets tired of your ass, where do you think you are going to be. Nowhere but in the trash. Where trash like you belong!" Shouted Ohani for the whole floor to hear.

Ashley stopped as she was about to open the door. She turned around and re-track her steps. Once she's right in front of Ohani, she raised her right hands...

Ashley's hand was still up in the air and about to strike Ohani's face when the door at Koji's office opened. "What's going on here?" Exclaim Koji while glaring between Kai and Ohani.

When Ashley heard Koji's voice from behind, she stopped what she was about to do and put her hands down. "Apology sir Hanada." Was all she said before she once again turned around and went to where Koji was standing by the door.

Kai held Ohani, doing his best to stop her. "Please, your voice. There are other people here, not just us. Remember your image, you are still the endorser of the company. Do not embarrass me. "Kai whispered with Ohani because he saw how the widened eyes of Koji's and his secretary.

"Good morning brother! It's a misunderstanding, please! Don't take it to heart. I'm sorry for bothering you, we would be going now." Said Kai while still holding on to Ohani as hard as he could.

"Let's get out of here, don't make any scandal. It's embarrassing! " He whispered as he pulled her and pushed her toward the door.

Ohani didn't want to leave yet. She wanted to fight with Ashley and to show who she is. However, she saw from Kai's feature that he's angry. She decided to let him guide her out of the room without resistance from her.

"If only I didn't need you, I'm not sure what would have happened already." She thought while smiling sweetly at Kai.

Kai and Ohani were long gone, but Koji was still standing by the threshold of his office. He was waiting for Ashley to come in without uttering a word.

Ashley acted as if nothing happened. Since the two had left already, she proceeded to go inside Koji's office. 

She not going to waste her time with people like Ohani. Especially now that she knows how her husband feels about her. That could only mean one thing ...- Tanaga doesn't feel anything for Ohani.

'She's only bitter that my husband was no longer interested in her. Good riddance that she left, or else... -who knows what would have happened if sir, Hanada didn't show up in time.' Thought Ashley.

Koji just shook his head in disbelief of what he saw. Ashley was about to strike Ohani right on her beautiful face. The face that they hired to be the endorser of their product. Good thing that he arrived on time, no damage was done.
