Chapter 188 - Great-grandchild

The smile that was plastered on President Hanada's face suddenly changed. It was due to what's in his mind. If his suspicion was correct, -he doesn't mind at all. Especially since his mother seems to be keen on this young woman.

Who knows, this could be the chance that his been waiting for all this time. If his son could have a child with her, one could never tell. The older woman might even hand the position of CEO to his son if he could produce a Great-grandchild.

Koji saw the way his father was looking at Ashley, and it worries him. He doesn't want her to be used as a pawn by his father just to obtain the position that Tanaga is currently occupying. Even himself, he never let his father use him to gain what he wanted. And he surely would not let him use the woman he cared for.

"Dad, if there's nothing else, we would go ahead. Even I'm hungry already. Rest assured that once Miss Gusman has a chance to speak with CEO Jones, I'm sure she would let us know. Right, Miss Gusman?" He asked while looking at Ashley and getting ready to get up. It was a sign that she should get up as well, so they could leave. She quickly stood up and politely smiled at Koji and President Hanada.

"Of course, sir! I will inform you right away once I hear from CEO Tanaga." Said Ashley before bowing to pay respect to President Hanada.

"Alright, dad! I will be going then. I'll let you know as soon as she tells me." Said Koji as they left the meeting room without looking back. Therefore, he didn't see the wicked smile that was on his father's face.

"Good job Koji! This will be the first time that I would not stop you if she's the one you like to be the mother of your child. Only because your Grandmother likes her very much, however, don't think that I would let you marry her. That's the only thing I can't agree on if it happens." He mumbles while he was preparing to leave and go back to his office.

As soon as they had arrived in the office, Ashley quickly excused herself. " If you'll excuse me I'm going ahead to sir Jones office so I could make my report and eat lunch at the same time." 

here was nothing Koji could do but nodded and acted that he didn't' care one way or the other what she does with her time. His attention was at the mass paperwork right in front of him. It's a sign for Ashley to go ahead and leave.

The truth of the matter was, he was planning to invite her for lunch. Unfortunately, she beat him by saying she would be having her lunch at Tanaga's office. Then no sooner than he nodded his head, she left as if the devil was chasing her. "Sigh!" 

Koji had lost his appetite and decided to just take care of the mass paperwork that needed his attention. "Might as well be productive and stopped mopping around like a love-struck teenager." He mumbled and began working. If only Ashley knew how love-struck Koji is with her, she might run so fast as if the devil is chasing her.

Ashley texted Tiny as soon as she stepped out of Koji's office. She doesn't have much time and she still needs to call her husband to make her report.

Ashley: [I'm on the way up, I will eat my lunch there. The three secretaries, are they there right now?]

Tiny: [No, ma'am! They are currently out to lunch.]

Ashley: [That's good! I need to call Tanaga, and I don't want them to hear my conversation.] 

Tiny: [ Yes, ma'am! I'll go ahead and heat your food, just go straight to sir Jones's office, and I'll bring it over there.]

Ashley: [ You don't need to do that! I can do it when I get there. leave it be!]

She didn't see Tiny's response, the elevator opened, and a couple of employees entered the elevator. She moved a little to give them some space and trying to be inconspicuous.

"Did you hear what happened at the meeting earlier?" Ask the Marketing Director secretary to her companion.

"Yes! It's embarrassing. President Hanada was so mad that he kicked his son President Kai Hanada to the curve. Then it was not enough, he approached the model that's with him, and before you know it, he slaps her beautiful face. Then lastly, he asked for security to kick her out of the meeting. Wow!" Said the secretary from the Product and Development department.

"Another thing was, -my boss said that COO Hanada was with an assistant and they wanted her as their endorser for this new product we are launching. I wonder what she looks like she could make my boss changed his mind in a heart-beat." Said the secretary of the Marketing Director.

Unknown to them that the person in question was right behind them hearing the whole thing. 

*Ding!* The elevator arrived at Tanaga's office floor. The two secretaries continued conversing as they walked towards Tanaga's office to bring some doc.u.ments. Unknown to them that Ashley was right behind them, hearing every word and smiling secretly while in deep thought.

'My God! I can't believe the employees here. They just loved to gossip with each other. No one supposed to know what happened inside the meeting room. Then yet, here they are gossiping with each other as if.' She let out a breath of air before continued to follow them.

The two secretaries did not stop gossiping until they were almost at Tanaga's office. They stopped for a moment and dust off a speck of imaginary dust. Then making sure they both look professional before continuing to Sato's office to drop off the doc.u.ments.

Ashley took the opportunity and went swiftly to Tanaga's office without them seeing her passed by. Since there was no one in Sato's office, the two employees just dropped the doc.u.ment and left as quickly as they came. As soon as they walked out of Sato's office, they continued their conversation.

No sooner than the two secretaries were out of sight, Tiny came out of the office kitchenette smiling from ear to ear while carrying a tray full of food for his lady boss...
