Chapter 228 - Mutual Consent!

In the end, Arthur has no other choice but to follow the couple. Tiny drove, while Sato was on the front passenger seat. Arthur, Ashley, and Tanaga sat at the back. Everyone was quiet while on their way to the condominium. 

Ashley was feeling uncomfortable and unable to sit still in between her older brother and husband. Tanaga saw this and pulled her closer to him in a tight embrace letting her elder brother shoot dagger at them. He knew that he wouldn't do or say anything.

First of all, Tanaga's is the boss. Secondly, he doesn't know what the two's actual relationship. He can't help but look at his little sister's finger. His eyes widened when he saw the ring filled with sparkling diamonds on her finger.

He then looks at Tanaga's finger and saw the matching ring on his finger. 'What's this? Why are they wearing a matching ring? What is the meaning of what I see right now?' Arthur thought while he continued staring at the couple's hand.

He couldn't wait for them to arrive wherever it is they are heading. He needed to have a word with his baby sister, or he would go nuts, not knowing what's going on?

A few moments later, they arrived at their destination. It's a gated community and the tallest building around the area. The garage opened, and they proceeded to the rooftop. Then the SUV stopped right in front of what it seems to be a condominium unit on the top floor.

Sato and Tiny quickly descended and opened both passenger doors for the couple. 

Tanaga finally released his wife from his tight embrace to be able to get out of the vehicle. After that, he helps Ashley step out of the car, before going straight to their condominium without looking if Arthur followed them.

Arthur was contemplating if he should follow the couple or not. He thought that their relationship wasn't a simple one because of how attentive Tanaga is to his little sister. When he wasn't moving to enter, Sato, grew impatient, and spoke.

"Excuse me, Captain Gusman, Ma'am, and Sir Jones waiting for you. You should follow them already." Sato said with a tint of respect on his tone.

Arthur was pulled back to reality when he hears what Sato had said to him. He contemplated for a moment, unsure of what to do.

"I don't know; I'm too embarrassed to follow them. Sir Jones is too intimidating, and he looks mad at the moment. Maybe I should just return to the ship for now and come back tomorrow. 

"Please pass my message…" he didn't get to finish what he was saying, as Sato pushed him towards the entrance.

"It's best for you to follow now. You don't know Sir Jones, and he might truly get mad if he doesn't get what he wants. If you don't want your little sister to get beaten up, I suggest you go inside." Banters Sato, he wanted to see how the older brother's reaction when he learned that his sister is getting abused.

"WHAT! Can you repeat what you just said? He is abusing my sister?" He quickly entered with his deadly glare, and he is ready to snatch back his sister. He will not let it passed if his sister is getting beaten even if he is a billionaire.

"Hahaha! Crazy! Overprotective older brother! I knew it, and if i said his little sister is getting beaten up by the boss, he would quickly enter the condominium. Hahaha!" Sato mumble to himself.

He didn't know that Tiny overheard their conversation and was stunned when he suddenly patted him on his shoulder.

"Why did you do that for? What if they get into a fight because of what you said? Did you ever think about that? Come, we might need to stand as a referee." Banters Tiny, as they roam toward the opened door.

When the two entered, they saw the couple and the siblings talking with each other seriously in the living room. Sato went straight to the kitchen and prepared some drinks to cool down their heads.

"So' What do you mean that you two are married even before you returned to the Philippines? How does that happen? If I'm not mistaken, it's only been a few weeks since you arrived in Japan. How did you become a married couple in just a short amount of time?" Exclaim Arthur while he was glaring at the couple in front of him in disbelief.

Ashley couldn't look at her elder brother straight in his eyes. It's because she had lied and It's a considerable N-no! To their Family. She knows that her elder brother will not tolerate this, and she will be scolded when Tanaga is no longer at her side.

She would never give him the chance to be alone together, for it will be suicidal in her part. She will do whatever is necessary to keep her husband at bay so that she can't get scolded.

"That's right! Your sister and I met each other when she was on the way to Japan. We bump into each other at the airport, and she accidentally left her phone to me. I did not expect that she was the assistant that the agency had sent to me. 

"It was a surprise to me when I met her the very next day." Tanaga intervenes, what he said was not a total lie, but what he was about to say also not the whole truth.

"I fell in Love at first sight with your sister, and I want her to be mine. My plan was to court her first, but then I found out that there was something wrong with her papers. She was tricked, and all were fake; therefore, she had illegally entered Japan. 

''When the immigration officers came to my office, and they want her arrested and deported back to the Philippines. I could only think of a way to keep her, so I suggested that we get married. I know that once we are married, they couldn't touch her, and she could legally stay in Japan.

"I know what you are thinking…. why didn't I just get her working papers instead of a wedding. Well, It's because of what I just said... I had fallen in love with her at first sight. It's the only way I know where she will be mine.

"I know! That my method wasn't right. But rest assured that I didn't force the married to her, she had agreed wholeheartedly. To be honest, she was the one who first crawled into my bed." Banters Tanaga while his face was void of any emotion.

Arthur believes every word he had heard, and his eyes widened in shock and gawked from the thought of his sister crawling to a man's bed...

"ASHLEY GUSMAN!!!" Shouted Arthur, everyone in the household heard loud and clear.

Ashley, who was silently listening to the lie being told by her husband, suddenly look up when she heard her elder brother shouted. "What the heck!" Was all she could say before pinching her husband on his thigh.

"You exaggerate too much! What do you mean I crawled into your bed? What are you, lucky? My family isn't a family of crawlers. I never even had a boyfriend in my entire life, and yet you say I crawled to your bed. Hmph!" Said Ashley defensively and then pouted at her husband before facing her brother to explain.

"Elder brother, don't believe what he had said about me being the first to crawl in his bed, it's mutual consent, ok! If he had fallen in Love at first sight, so do I.  From the time I had bumped into him at the airport, I knew that there was something.

"You know that I had never fallen in love with anyone in my life, and he was the first.  I don't mind admitting it since we are already married." Ashley didn't manage to finish her sentence as Tanaga blocked his mouth with his hands.

"Love, I don't think your brother wants to hear what you are about to say. It's enough that he knows it's mutual consent. And no one was forced here. Alright!

"Why? Do you know what I'm about to say? Why is it my brother isn't allowed to hear it? What im trying to say is that since we are married.." She continued with a crazy grin.
