Chapter 275 - Life Without Him...

At first, Ashley's brothers were zoning out because of what they heard that their brother-in-law is now already dead. They suddenly came back from reality when they saw Ashley fainted. 

Mr. Gusman immediately gives her something to smell to wake her up. After that, he hugs his daughter and lets her let out her feelings. "Don't hide your feelings, let it out, shout if you want. But don't keep it to yourself cause it's terrible for you, baby." Mr. Gusman whispered while tears were also streaming down his face. 

Grandma Hanada saw everything that's happening, and she felt so guilty for all the lies that she had done. But when she saw that people around her is taking care of her and loving her, she felt a bit at ease and decided to continue with the farse.

" Ashley, I wish you could understand why I sent you away from Japan. I need to make sure that you are safe and the successor of the THJ group. And I know your family won't leave you behind. I can see right now how they love you." Grandma Hanada said while her tears are also falling down her old haggard face.

Mr. Gusman was the one who replied to grandma Hanada." Madam Chairwoman, don't worry because we won't allow terrible things to befall to my future grandson or granddaughter and my daughter. Even if it is the death of us, nothing wrong will happen to them!" Mr. Gusman said in a harsh tone. 

The old lady suddenly felt guilty about her lying. But she keeps saying in her mind that this is for the sake of Ashley in the end. But, whatever she says to herself, she still pities Ashley's situation. Her only prayer is, she hopes that Tanaga will wake up and know his situation. 

Grandma Hanada decided to explain to Ashley's family her plan. 

" Mr. Gusman, I know you won't let anything happen to your daughter and her child. However, I just want to remind you that's is very important to keep them safe no matter what happens. 

"Just like what I've said, that kid will be the successor of the wealth of the Hanada and Jones. I hope you understand my situation." Grandma Hanada said that while her eyes can visibly see the sadness in it, it caught Mr. Gusman's heart. 

"Ma'am, you don't have to worry. We will do everything we can until the baby is born and grow up properly." That all Mr. Gusman said and didn't add more. 

"Now that we are cleared in this. This is what I want you to do. Don't think about the expenses, I'll be taking care of it of all. Tanaga's yacht will be the one you'll use, and you all will stay sailing until Ashley is about to go on labor. This is to make sure that they can't be easily tracked by the syndicate by chance they knew about Ashley and her baby. "

"When it's time for her to give birth to the baby, she will be taken to America, and this is where the baby will be born. And then we will go from there on what will be the life of the baby and Ashley. Is it okay with you?" The old lady worriedly asked because Ashley's family might disagree. 

Mrs. Gusman and Mr. Gusman looked at each other before the two looks at their daughter. 

"What do you think? You'll be the one who'll decide since it is your baby. Even if it's in the middle of a sea or inland, we won't leave you behind. Till death do us part!" Promised Mr. Gusman while holding his wife's hand.

"Yes, it's your decision we'll follow. Just say it, and that's what we're gonna do. Do you agree on what Madam Chairwoman said?" Mrs. Gusman asked with sadness in her eyes.

Ashley wasn't still fully recovered on what she heard, and just listening to the conversation answered. Her face was filled with tears and sorrow. "Grandma, can I know where Tanaga's body is? Did you get his body?" 

Grandma Hanada was shocked and speechless. She didn't think that Ashley would actually ask that question. She has to think of an answer, something believable or else... Once she figured out what she's going to say, she then replied.

"Ashley, you know the car exploded with Tanaga, right? Because this is a murder case, the burned bodies are in the morgue and still investigating.

Once the investigation is finished, I will come back to Japan to get his body." Grandma Hanada said while still can't look straight, at Ashley. 

"I understand if that's the case. I agree with what you want us to do, but please… I wish Tanaga's body will be cremated so that I can take his Ashes when we meet. Is it okay?" 

Grandma Hanada didn't think twice and agreed because she didn't want to prolong the conversation about Tanaga. She's worried that she might get caught if she will let it get longer. 

"Sure! Don't worry and I'll make your wish. All right, I need to go I'm gonna rest now. It's already evening here, and you know that I'm old. Take care of yourself always at any time when you want to talk to me… Just call me." After grandma Hanada said goodbye to everyone, she immediately ended the call. 

After they finished talking to grandma Hanada, they gathered around to wonder what they would do. Tiny was the one to explain it to everyone. 

"The chairwoman ordered me that we should not be here too long inland. We might sail later this evening. Now I want to know who's coming with us so that I can prepare your papers?" Tiny seriously asked while waiting for answers from the Gusman family. 

" I can't come with you because they need me here at the hotel. " Arman said sadly. He wanted to accompany them, but now that Tanaga's gone... He needs to make sure nothing happens with the hotel. It's for his nephew/niece's future after all.

"Well, since it's a vacation right now... I can go with them. However, when school starts I will need to come back." Arnold said. 

"Me too!" Ariel followed.

Arthur and Ariel looked at each other and didn't know what to answer. Butler Ruffy decided to speak first."

Arthur and Ariel, the two of you, need to come because the captain and the yacht's chef was sent home. We figured that ma'am Ashley would be much safer with the whole family. Unfortunately, Arman would not be able to come with us. Do you all understand what I mean?" He looked at everyone seriously while waiting for their response.

A/N:

I had informed all of you that I will be doing mass release this weekend. However, the day had changed to 7/20/2020 which is Monday. 

There's an event is hosting from the 18~31 of July. This book was picked for the day indicated above.

However, this book is set for mass release on 7/20/2020 originally it's only for 5 chapters, but I might do more depending on our ranking. Vote, vote, vote.
