Chapter 302 - Memory Has Return

One of Tanaga's bodyguards approached him while the other one quickly went to the nurse station to ask for help. In just a few moments, a doctor and a few nurses arrived with the bodyguard. 

Tanaga was carried by his bodyguard and was laid onto the bed the Chairwoman used. While the Chairwoman was beside him, she was crying and still didn't know what to do. All she could do was hold her unconscious grandson's hand.

"T-Tanaga, wake up. What h-happened to you?" Grandma Hanada asked, worried that something bad happened to Tanaga since he was unresponsive. 

The doctor immediately looked at Tanaga and questioned Grandma Hanada, "What happened? Does he have a condition I need to know about?"

"He had an accident six months ago and got his brain operated on. It is better to talk to his private doctor because I might not explain it properly," Grandma Hanada replied. 

She then turned her attention to Harumi. "Call Tanaga's private doctor and let him talk to the doctor," Grandma Hanada told Harumi, her voice trembling. 

Harumi spontaneously followed her orders and called Tanaga's private doctor. Grandma Hanada moved to the sofa and sat there while the doctor checked up on Tanaga.

Butler Ruffy – who just came back from Ashley's room – entered the room after Grandma Hanada sat on the sofa to report. He froze. He felt the anxiety grow inside of him when he saw Tanaga lying on the bed unconscious. 

"Oh God! Madam Chairwoman, what happened to Sir Jones?" Butler Ruffy asked when he got near to the distressed Chairwoman.

She just shook her head because she couldn't find the words to respond to him. Her chest tightened. Butler Ruffy noticed her discomfort and quickly went to look for her medicine. But when he couldn't find the medicine, he shouted, "Ms. Harumi, the medicine! Quick!" 

Harumi – who was waiting for the doctor to pick up her call – panicked when she heard Butler Ruffy. She hurriedly found the medicine for the Chairwoman and gave it to Butler Ruffy straight away. 

On the other side of the wall, Ashley was there along with her joyous family. On this side of the wall, the atmosphere was tense as Tanaga was still not conscious and Grandma Hanada could have a heart attack out of nervousness.

After thirty minutes, Tanaga woke up and the headache that felt like splintering his head was gone. The room was silent, and the doctor and nurses who were there earlier had already left. 

He looked around the whole room and forced himself to remember what happened. He remembered that Butler Ruffy was about to leave to bring his sons to Ashley's room. 

'Ah- Ashley Gusman.' There was a bit of memory that was coming back to him – the time when they bumped into each other at the airport in the Philippines. Tanaga smiled a bit while forcing himself to dive into his memory to discover what happened next… 

A few moments had passed before Tanaga stood up and fixed his suit. He made sure that there were no creases, then he prepared to leave. But before that, he found the contract that was in the envelope to bring it with him. 

Tanaga was busy opening the drawers and finding the envelope where Harumi kept it. Because of the noise, Grandma Hanada sensed him and stopped the prayer she was doing. 

"Tanaga! You're already awake? Thank God!" Grandma Hanada proclaimed. She stood up from where she was seated and approached Tanaga. 

"What are you looking for? And you were looking for it for quite a while now? "Grandma Hanada asked curiously while she was walking towards her grandson. 

"Grandma, where is the envelope that I gave you earlier? I need it and I have to talk to Ashley," Tanaga declared.

Grandma Hanada was confused, forehead creasing. "Tanaga, tell me… have you remembered your wife? Is your memory coming back?" Grandma Hanada excitedly asked while smiling gleefully. 

This was what she prayed for while Tanaga was unconscious. The doctor at the hospital had talked to Tanaga's private doctor and said that it happened to Tanaga because he was regaining his memories and that his brain couldn't handle it. 

The private doctor also said that Tanaga should let his brain rest. Grandma Hanada became happy about that and told the doctor and nurses to leave to let Tanaga rest. 

That's why Grandma Hanada thought that Tanaga might regain his memories and also Ashley. If her speculation was right, it meant that they were going to become one happy big family with the twins. 

"Ah, the envelope that holds the fresh contract between you and Ashley? I let Harumi burn it. I didn't even know you thought of making another contract with your wife. Also, I called your lawyer and told him to destroy evidence of the contract between you and Ashley. So, come to your wife and make it clear with her. Make sure you get a copy and tear it in front of her. Understood?" Her voice was high, and she spoke to Tanaga as though he were a kid.

Tanaga didn't have a choice but to nod and scratch his head. He then kissed the forehead of his grandma. "Wish me luck, as I don't think she will forgive me easily because of the words I said to her earlier…" Saying that Tanaga left the room.

He was determined to go to where his wife and sons were. Even if he couldn't still remember everything, his heart kept telling him that he has feelings for Ashley – his wife. 

He was going to use his heart and listen to it, rather than be dictated by his brain. For the first in his life was he going to do this. Even if he had to grovel in front of Ashley, just to be forgiven by her, he would do it. 

Tiny – who was waiting outside and guarding the door – was shocked when he saw his man boss with a serious expression, looking ready to start a war. He got worried and was scared his for lady boss.

"Sh*t… it looks like Sir Jones is ready for WWIII. Who's the one I should oppose?" Tiny whispered to himself while Tanaga was getting near. 

He didn't know what to do. His mind was wandering when Tanaga was already in front of him. He hesitated and just looked straight at Tanaga to the point where he even forgot to give respects to his boss.

Tanaga was confused as to why Tiny didn't greet him. He frowned while his countenance revealed that he was annoyed. "What is the meaning of this? Are you stopping me from entering inside the room?" Tanaga furiously asked while his nose was steaming…
