Chapter 303 - Please, Forgive Me?

Tiny came back to his senses and bowed his head to give respect to Tanaga. "I apologize, Sir Jones. I was spacing out since I was resting… Uhm sir, do you feel better now?" Tiny uttered while scratching his head. 

Fortunately for him, Tiny told Ashley's bodyguard to have a meal so he could replace the two for a while. If not, he was sure that they wouldn't be able to stop Tanaga because that is what Ashley told them to do. 

When Tanaga left an hour ago, Ashley's family arrived just after he left. She swiftly hid the envelope under her pillow, not letting anyone know about it. Then, Ashley called Inday and asked for a piece of paper and a ballpen to write a note for Tiny. 

The note states: "whatever happens, don't let Tanaga enter." As Tiny and the other two bodyguards were assigned to her, they needed to follow her or else they would lose their job. 

Ashley didn't want her family and Tanaga's family to fight. Now that they had a new signed contract, stating what was going to happen after three years, she knew that her family wouldn't agree to it.

When Tiny received the note from Ashley, he passed on the message to the two bodyguards. He intimidated them to follow it and it worked as they also promised that even if there is a clash, they would try their best to stop Tanaga.

"Sir Jones, I'm sorry. Madam Ashley ordered not to let you come inside because her whole family is there. If you want to talk to her, please call her instead. Please sir!!" Tiny begged Tanaga Jones while praying that he would listen to his pleas and leave before one of Ashley's family members came out of the room. 

Tanaga couldn't believe that Tiny would listen to Ashley over him. But when he remembered that Tiny is assigned to Ashley, he realized that Ashley is the priority. Tanaga breathed deeply before speaking, "Hmmm, I guess you're right. Okay, I'm gonna come back to Grandma Hanada's room and I'll try to call her there." Tanaga turned around until he remembered that he didn't know Ashley's number. "Tiny, what's Ashley's phone number?" He then took his phone out from his pocket to look if he had it. 

Tiny immediately gave the number so that Tanaga could now leave. His nervousness couldn't be erased till he left; what if the door to Ashley's room opened? Then her family would see that Tanaga is still alive. 

While Tanaga was going back to Grandma Hanada's room, he saved Ashley's number under the name of 'Mother of My Kids' instead of 'Ashley'. But before he clicked the save button, something struck him. He changed it and put, 'My Wife' then clicked the save button. 

Tanaga entered the room the same time Mr. Gusman came out from the room, accompanied by a nurse who was pulling the bed of the twins. 

While the door was open, Tiny heard that Ashley was planning to leave when she could stand. He didn't hear the rest because the sounds were muffled behind the closed door.

'Oh, this is not good. How can Sir Jones talk to Madam Ashley if we're about to leave? Unless Madam Ashley allows Sir Jones to go to the house…?' Tiny was lost in his thoughts when someone suddenly patted him on the shoulder; so sudden that he almost punched them out of shock. 

"Whoa! Careful there! You were about to give me a black eye!" Butler Ruffy whined. He stared at Tiny closely before saying, "Are you spacing out? Was there something that happened while I was away?" Butler Ruffy curiously asked while staring at his nephew. 

Tiny was thinking about what to say to Butler Ruffy because he knew that whatever happens, the Butler would favor Tanaga over Ashley. That was only because Butler Ruffy was with Tanaga since he was a kid.

In the end, Tiny believed that it was better to keep his mouth shut and let the couple fix their situation. 

"Nothing. I'm just worried about Sir Jones and if he's okay. That's all," Tiny said firmly.

Butler Ruffy believed him and patted Tiny's shoulder again. "I know that what happened earlier was nothing because he survived death after falling off a cliff. It was just a headache – that's nothing! Anyway, I'll go now. The Chairwoman is waiting for this," Butler Ruffy raised his hand. "She asked me to buy it, let's just talk later." Then Butler Ruffy left to go to Grandma Hanada's room. 

As he entered the room, the Butler saw Grandma Hanada lying on the bed, resting, while Tanaga was by the window, looking off into the distance with his phone in his hand.

Butler Ruffy just shook his head and carefully came inside; he didn't want to disturb Tanaga. He decided to put what he bought to the table and left again. 

Tanaga was thinking about how he should apologize to Ashley. When he was about to call Ashley and click the call button, he quickly switched off his phone.

"Sh*t! How can I say sorry through the phone? Should I just text it? Ahhh!!" He screamed in a whispering tone because he didn't want Grandma Hanada to wake up. Little did he know that she wasn't really sleeping. 

Grandma Hanada knew that Tanaga didn't have a talk with Ashley since he returned after a short time. That's why, when she noticed that Tanaga was about to enter the room, she swiftly closed her eyes so that her grandson couldn't ask her for advice.

She herself didn't know what Tanaga should do to make Ashley forgive him.

While Grandma Hanada was waiting for Tanaga to make his next move, he thought of texting Ashley first and waited for how she would reply. When he knew what Ashley was going to say, then he'd have an idea on what to do.

Tanaga: [Forgive me.] Then he hit the send button before he changed his mind on deleting it.
