Chapter 308 - Naming The Twins [2]

So, what do you think?" Ashley asked while all of them had no idea that she already wrote the name she chose. That's why when Grandma Hanada saw it, she laughed so hard that everyone turned their gaze at her. 

"Hahaha! Hahaha! Hahaha!" Grandma Hanada burst out laughing. Everyone promptly approached Ashley and Arnold took the paper from Ashley's grip. 

His eyes widened when she saw what Ashley wrote. "How unfair! You're asking us when you already know what you want to name!" Then Arnold gave the paper to his father. 

"What's written?" Mrs. Gusman asked while Tiny, Inday, Arnel, and Harumi were waiting for Mr. Gusman to say it out loud.

"Okay, okay! The first name of course is the one Grandma Hanada said – James Hakata. The second name that is Ashley's choice is – Ashton Hataka. Hahaha! I'm sure I'll be having a hard time with the names of the kids. Good thing Ashley put odd names for the two.

While they're here in America, they'll be named as James and Ashton. If they're in Japan, then let's call them Hakata and Hataka. Now if they're in the Philippines – never mind!" Father Jessie jokingly declared before giving the paperback to Ashley so that she could personally give it to the happy nurse standing beside her.

When the registration was finished and Ashley and her kids got discharged, everybody was in a cheerful mood going home. Inday, Arnold, Arnel, and Mr. and Mrs. Gusman went inside the first car. Ashley, her twins, Grandma Hanada, Harumi, Tiny, and the bodyguard-driver of Grandma Hanada were in the other car.

Every request Ashley asked to Tanaga was completely received by her, except the request for a smaller house. First of all, Tanaga was not used to living in a small house. Secondly, Ashley needed a couple of rooms because her family is big. 

Butler Ruffy fixed everything first before he weakly went back to Japan.

Grandma Hanada decided to stay temporarily in America. When Ashley discovered that, she invited her to the house so that she wouldn't feel lonely and could see her great-grandsons.

Grandma Hanada was so happy that Ashley invited her. She thought that Ashley would be mad because she hid Tanaga from her while he was recovering. 

But she was so shocked that she even thanked her that she wasn't informed about what really happened to Tanaga; if she did, she could've had a miscarriage.

Meanwhile, Tanaga was inside his private plane with Butler Ruffy flying back to Japan. Both of them were silent as though there were in a funeral procession. Instead of talking to each other, both were thinking deeply. 

Tanaga was bemused and he didn't understand himself. When he and Ashley talked and kissed, the dog hiding in his pants suddenly reacted; that's why he suddenly let go from the kiss. 

He knew that Ashley just gave birth and it would be long before he could do it, so he immediately withdrew, his head feeling like it was burning.

He was sure that he likes Ashley, even if he still couldn't remember what happened between them. His heart and body were reacting for him. But the doubt that he might be fooled one day by her was there. He decided to be far away first, now that he was still regaining all his memories. 

Butler Ruffy, on the other hand, was thinking because, in almost one year of being with Ashley and her family, he learned to love them like a true family. Even still, he couldn't leave Tanaga alone now that Grandma Hanada decided on staying for a while in America. He kept on praying that Tanaga would remember everything so that Ashley and he would reconcile so that they could be all together again. 

Tanaga faked a cough. 

Butler Ruffy was shocked by Tanaga's sudden change of position.

"Uncle Ruffy, can you tell me how Ashley and I were happy before? I can't sleep… but when I do sleep, many things form in my head and I end up having a nightmare," Tanaga explained while he was about to lean on Ruffy to make himself comfortable.

When Butler Ruffy heard Tanaga's wish, he suddenly smiled from ear to ear – it was his favorite topic. Butler Ruffy started talking a few moments later and started on the day where Tanaga brought Ashley to the mansion. 

Butler Ruffy and Tanaga didn't notice that they had been talking for hours yet Tanaga didn't even get drowsy. Instead, his eyes were wide open and seriously listening to Butler Ruffy. 

When Butler Ruffy yawned, Tanaga was the one to tell him to stop and that they should have a rest. Then he stood up and went to a cabin in the plane to sleep there, hoping that he would dream of something spectacular.

Meanwhile, Koji was busy fixing his new house while in Texas. The board member approved Koji's request on transferring to America to properly run their marine division there. 

Koji discovered that Ashley was chosen by Tanaga as the new President of the THJ marine division at Texas. Because he knew that she lacked experience, he used it as an excuse to guide her to make sure she could learn what to do.

Since Tanaga was not there when he had a conference call with the board members, his request had been approved and he was now the advisor of Ashley until she would get used to the position.

That's why he felt like he was on Cloud 9. He knew that he would face happiness when he was going to see Ashley again; the best thing about it was that Tanaga would not be around.

Koji didn't know what happened and the couple was still not getting back together. What he knew was that Tanaga's memories were still not coming back from the time he and Ashley met. Koji kept praying for Tanaga to never get those memories back.

When Koji finished fixing his things, he thought of calling Ashley to congratulate her on her new position. He also wanted to let her know that he was going to be her advisor so that she wouldn't be shocked when she starts work.
