Meanwhile, back in Japan, there was a man who was restless while seated on a chair. He was in a board meeting and they were talking about a big project, but his mind was nowhere near. Instead, he was holding his smartphone while thinking if he should fly to America or not?
The directors and other high-ranking personnel kept talking while Tanaga's mind was flying out of the window. That's why when Vice President Hiromichi was asking him repeatedly he didn't notice it and he repeatedly tried to catch his attention.
"CEO Jones, what do you think? Are we going to approve this project?" VP Hiromichi asked.
"What? Oh, why don't you first study it carefully and then give me your proposal and I will inform you of my decision." Tanaga then stood up.
"If you don't need anything from me, then this meeting is adjourned." Then he left without looking back.
The board of directors and other officials of the company had been left with their mouth wide open. Ever since Tanaga arrived, they never managed to have a proper conversation with him. Every time they proposed a project, he always replied that they should first study it carefully before submitting it to him.
Even though that was the situation, they had no choice even if Tanaga changed big time since THJ Group was his company; he was the largest shareholder, and Grandma Hanada taking the second.
The total shares of board members were not even 20%, while Tanaga got 40% and Grandma Hanada got 30% while the remaining 10% belonged to CEO Jeff Go's company.
That's why no matter what he did, they had no choice because they couldn't vote him out. And another thing was that they earned a large amount of money thanks to the skills of Koji Hanada and Tanaga. Ever since they came to their position, every shareholder lived a well-off life.

Aiko immediately stood up from her seat when she saw Tanaga entering with his brows raised. When she was about to greet and bow, she saw Tanaga motioning for her to stop. So, Aiko didn't continue her greeting and returned to what she was doing.
Ever since Fumiko and Sato left, Aiko's job has multiplied by four-fold because the two didn't have a replacement. Meanwhile, Etsuko was sick and hadn't yet gone to the office, so all the jobs fell onto her.
Aiko was surprised when the phone on her desk rang. "Yes, Sir Jones? Do you need anything?" Aiko asked while being nervous as her boss looked like he was in a bad mood.
"Clear all my appointments for the whole month. If there is an emergency immediately email me but if it's not… never disturbed me. Do you understand?" Then he hung up and didn't wait for a reply.
He didn't even bother to turn his gaze on Aiko; he just left just like that.
When Tanaga was about to leave the door Aiko suddenly called out to him. "Sir Jones! Sir Jones!" Aiko shouted while approaching Tanaga while averting her gaze.
"What now!? Didn't you see I'm in a rush?" Tanaga angrily lashed out while glaring at her because his plans were being disturbed.
"Sir, I apologize! But there is an emergency at one of our hotels in Europe, caught on fire!" Aiko roughly said to her boss.
"F*ck – when did this happen?" Tanaga asked while rubbing his head.
"A few moments ago! The general manager there was asking for help. Since President Hanada was nowhere to be seen, they were directed to you."
Tanaga looked at the clock before counting. 11 am in Japan so it should be 11 pm in the States. He looked at Aiko, before. "Call President Hanada in the US and to him right now to fly to Europe ASAP. If he doesn't follow, he should start wrapping things up. Because he is FIRED!"
Then Tanaga went out without turning his head. His two bodyguards were shaking their head while following him.
While Tanaga was on the elevator, he called Grandma Hanada to inform her what had transpired.
"Hello, if you have no other things to do in your life and you are bored… will you let your old and weak grandmother sleep." Grandma Hanada was still groggy when she answered the phone.
"Grandma, something happened and one of our hotels in Europe caught on fire. I am sending Koji there to fix things up. I will fly to go there right now to replace him as Ashley's trainer. What do you think?" Tanaga gently spoke while asking for advice from his grandmother.
Grandma Hanada was surprised at what she heard, because of it she suddenly opened her eyes wide and sat so that they could talk seriously.
"Please repeat what you had just said. You will be the one replacing Koji to guide Ashley on how to lead the marine division? Are you sure? Are you ready? I thought you are giving her time to spread her wings without you? What's with the sudden change of heart?" Grandma Hanada asked while confused, but deep inside her she was happy.
Grandma Hanada liked Tanaga's idea since she was worried that Ashley might fall in love with Koji because of how kind he is.
When Ashley got home that night, Grandma Hanada asked what happened to her work and she heard nothing but… President Hanada here, President Hanada there. It was full of praise and Ashley had a wide smile while talking about President Hanada. Because of this Grandma Hanada was worried.
If Tanaga didn't call to tell her his plans of coming to the US, she planned to call him once she woke up in the morning.
"Well, if I am to be asked, it is better if you are the one to teach your wife. As you know the business world better than Koji, that's why you are the CEO and he is only the president." Grandma Hanada arrogantly said.
"Hmmm, that's settled then. I will be leaving right now and within 24 hours, I will be there. Grandma Hanada, do you think I should visit my in-laws and inform them that I am still alive? Cause, sooner or later, they will know the truth. What do you think?" Tanaga worriedly asked.
One of the things they have decided on is that they wouldn't inform Ashley's family that he is still alive. In case they will never fix their relationship, at the very least Ashley's family wouldn't be hurt if they remained ignorant.
Grandma Hanada couldn't answer and was thinking quite deeply, then she sighed.
"Sigh! I tell you what, Go and leave now. While I will talk about your in-laws to your wife. Call me first thing in the morning.
Tanaga was relieved when he heard Grandma Hanada's answer. At least with his Grandma's help. Ashley has the chance to listen. He was about to hang the phone when he remembered.
"Grandma, is it okay if you don't tell Ashley that I will be arriving soon. I want to surprise her, is that all right?" Tanaga pleaded while he was excited to fly to the US where his twins and her wife currently were...
