Chapter 357 - The Demon Mother...

Tanaga heard every word Naomi said, and he suddenly felt an aching pain in his heart. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. The mother that he had grieved for many years hated him to the core of her being. He didn't know what to think at that moment. He was enraged to the highest level and wanted to tell her to get the F*ck out of his life. 

He wanted to shout at her to vent the anger that was slowly growing inside of him. He tried to tell her that he doesn't need her in his life. But instead, he stayed motionless so he could hear what more she had to say.

Naomi continued with her rant while Tanaga continued with his charade and remained still. 

Tanaka was so shocked and unable to utter a word. He knew that their mother was a cold-hearted B*cth, but he never realized the extent of her hate towards him, Tanaga, and their deceased father.

He felt remorse and angry at the same time. With that, he slumps his limp body to the sofa and puts his two palms to his face to cover his genuine emotions. Just as when Tanaka finally got his bearing and was about to say something to Naomi... The door burst open, and Raul walked in with his colleague. 

"Who are you people barging in? Can you see that we are having a family meeting?" Naomi screamed at them as they entered the room.  

Raul and his colleagues ignored her and positioned themselves right infront of Tanaga while Raul rushed to his boss's aid who was still playing unconsciously on the sofa.

"Sir Jones! Oh' my God! What did you do to Sir Jones!" Exclaim Raul as he kneels down to check if Tanaga was still breathing. Four more  bodyguards came and stood right behind Tanaka and Naomi while their eyes were at Tanaka bewildered.

"Sir Jones... Sir Jones... It's Raul Sir Jones." Called Raul while gently shaking Tanaga. He then turned his attention to his colleague and gave orders. "Call for an ambulance, and we will take Sir Jones to the hospital right now!" He shouted to his man guarding the mother and son.

When Tanaga heard what Raul ordered, he decided to open his eyes. "Hmmm, what happened?" He acted as if he just got his senses back as he tried to sit up.

"Sir! Oh,' thank God! I'm sorry that I was not here to protect you; I'm so sorry!" Said Raul while his head was down and still in kneeling position.

Tanaga topped his shoulder. "It's not your fault, get up already. It is not like you to be groveling." He then turned his attention to his mother and twin brother. He stared at them for a moment before ordering everyone to leave them alone.

"Give us some privacy. And Raul ordered some food from the restaurant. I'm hungry!" Ordered Tanaga while he was still glaring at his mother.

No one moved while Raul fidgeted and had something to say. Tanaga saw this and with a raised brow, "what are you waiting for? Don't worry... They will not hurt me. Go!" Snarled Tanaga while pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Yes, sir Jones! However, If you don't mind me saying... Can you please, contact sir Tiny and inform him that you're alright. I don't want him to fly over here thinking you're in danger." Reasoned Raul before turning to leave and follow Tanaga's order.

With what Raul asked him to do, he quickly looked for his phone, and instead of calling Tiny, he promptly dialed Ashley. He then got up and went inside the bathroom and closed the door so the two could not hear his conversation.

Meanwhile, everyone was still in discussion about what they saw on the television. Each and everyone has their own opinion on the matter, but Ashley was not listening nor paying attention. She decided to get up and get a breath of fresh air to clear her mind before she lost it.

While she was pacing back and forth by the swimming pool, her phone buzzed, and when she looked who was calling, her face lit up. "Tanaga!" She quickly slides her finger to answer her husband's facetime.

As soon as Ashley saw Tanaga's face, she was going to ask if everything was fine when she remembered what butler Ruffy said. "Tan, it's you that I'm speaking with, right?" She asked nervously.

"Sweetheart! You know already? That's good then. This way, I don't have to go to too much detail, and we can cut short our conversation for now. I need to take care of some business with them. They are outside waiting for me, and I just called to let you know that I'm fine." Tanaga explained while he looked so tired.

"Tan... It is not that I don't believe you. But I need to make sure, will you do me a favor and point the camera under your right earlobe? Please!" 

Tanaga wonders why Ashley asked, but he complies anyway. Whatever makes his wife happy, he will be glad to do so. Therefore, he pointed the camera to where Ashley wanted and let her look.

Ashley saw that mole under his earlobe as butler Ruffy said. She let out a sigh of relief before continuing to speak. "How are you feeling? Are you okay? They didn't hurt you, did they?" She bombarded Tanaga with questions while it's visible that she's filled with concern.

Tanaga smiled a little and loved the way Ashley was on the verge of tears already. "Shss, don't fret, sweetheart. They couldn't hurt me even if they wanted to. They are my family, after all." He assured Ashley to make sure she stops worrying so they could finish their conversation, and he could go back and finish their business.

Hearing what Tanga said, Ashley felt much better. She then remembers grandma Hanada that was taken to the hospital. 

"Oh' since you are fine, I need to go to the hospital right now. Grandma Hanada fainted when she saw your mother's face on the video. She was taken to the emergency room with Harumi, and I plan on going once I'm sure you are fine. So, let's stop here for now and take care of your business there. Hurry and come home. alright!" 

Tanaga nodded and showered his wife with kisses on the screen of the cell phone. Once he was done, he took a deep breath before going out to face his demon of a mother...
