Chapter 358 - 100 Million Dollars...

The room was eerily quiet when Tanaga entered. He stood at the threshold of the bathroom door for a moment and glared at his mother who was busy sipping a c.o.c.ktail drink that she made for herself while Tanaga was speaking with Ashley. 

He still couldn't believe his eyes that he's looking at his long-deceased mother and twin brother. For many years it haunted his dreams and he spent many sleepless nights from a nightmare. He would wake up while calling for his mother and a twin brother who has fallen in the vast ocean. Only to find out that it was only a hoax to deceive them.

He then turned his attention to his twin brother Tanaka who was sitting quietly while his head was down looking at his shoes.

He slowly saunters towards the single sofa chair and sits facing the two. He didn't say a word, he only sat there waiting for Naomi to begin the conversation. He is still in shock learning that the mother that he thought had died and was buried under the sea, is now seated right in front of him without a care in the world. 'What a witch!' He thought.

After a few minutes and now one was speaking, Tanaga finally broke the ice. He cleared his throat first... Naomi heard him and looked at his directions with wide eyes and raised eyebrows while waiting for what he has to say.

"I don't need to know the detail why you had deceived everyone into believing that you had died. What I want to know is what do you need from me right now." Inquired Tanaga calmly and direct to the point. He already heard earlier when he was acting unconscious and he doesn't want to hear it once more. 

Naomi with a calm demeanor looked at Tanaga straight face before replying. She went directly to the point. She knows what she wants and as long as Tanaga or her mother Chairwoman Hanada gives her what she wants, she will be more than happy to move on.

"You have not yet answered my question, what do you want from me? Speak now or forever hold your peace!" Snarled Tanaga while intensely glaring at his mother.

Naomi didn't like that at all. When Tanaga raised his voice as he spoke, that only made her blood boil and shoot up to her head. Therefore, when she responded... She also screams as loud as she can.

"I want your financial support! I need money invested in my company that's about to go under. That's what I came for! I don't care if you give it to me from your own pocket or from THJ Group funds, I want 100 million dollars by the end of the week. Do you understand that!

"That should be enough time for you to liquidate assets if needed. And If..." Naomi didn't get to finish what she was going to say before Tanaga smacked his hands on the side of the sofa with a loud bang.

"Whack!" 

"You're unbelievable! You showed your face after so many years and the only words that came from your mouth were... I WANT YOUR MONEY!!!! You're something else!" He screamed back from the top of his lungs as well. His face was beet red from anger.

Tanaka's face raised up when he heard Tanaga's words. Unfortunately, he could believe that their mother is capable of doing what she has done. She's a cold-hearted witch and there's nothing he could do about it. After hearing what Naomi said a while ago about hating them to the core of their being... He's ready to beg Tanaga to give her what she wants as long as she leaves them alone.

"Can both of you please, be civilized with one another? Why can't you both speak rationally to each other? You have not seen each other for ages and isn't this supposed to be a reunion? That's what you told me before coming here isn't it?" Tanaka looked at his mother with pleading eyes.

"Why do you have to yell each time you open your mouth? You could have asked him in a nice way, but you have a way of making demands as if he owes you something besides giving birth to him. Sighs!" Said Tanaka as he got up to step out to the balcony and leave them alone. 

Naomi was stunned, she couldn't believe that after all these years... Tanaka raised his voice on her. For many years, as Tanaka was growing up... She would scold him, beat him up, inflict as much pain as she could... But he never fights back no matter how hurt he was. 

Tanaka never even raised his voice to her, not once until now. Well, that doesn't matter now. All it matters is for her to get the money she needs and she will get it one way or the other.

"So' what is it? Are you going to give me the money... or do I have to go ask your dear old grandmother? I'm sure she would be more than happy to give it to me. She owes me that much for ruining my life, to begin with." Said Naomi sarcastically while she continued sipping her c.o.c.ktail drinks.

Just as Tanaga was about to speak, a sudden, severe headache that is different from past headaches. Then he began to feel neck pain. He slowly massages the back of his neck as he begins sweating bullets. His eyes began to blur and his sight slowly dimmed and soon you know it, he's once again lost consciousness... *Thud!* And he's limped body lies on the ground as it fell from where he was sitting on the sofa.

Naomi, who was at first sitting comfortably sipping her c.o.c.ktail, dropped the glass from her hands and quickly got up and went towards Tanaga. "Holy shit! Tanaga! Tanaga! TANAGA!!!!!" 

She screamed so loud that the bodyguards standing outside the door heard and rushed inside to see what happened. With the commotion going on inside the room, Tanaka curiously went back in to see what was happening.

One of the bodyguards was calling for an ambulance so they could take Tanaga to the nearby hospital. Meanwhile, Raul was in a kneeling position ready to lift Tanaga to lay him down on the bed.

Naomi was astounded, unable to move nor utter a word. She was so shocked that the maternal instinct kicked in without her knowing. She was so worried about Tanaga that she had forgotten that she supposedly hated him... When Tanaka saw this, he began to hope that maybe... maybe there still hope that their mother would have a change of heart in the future...

A moment later, the paramedic came and gave Tanaga the first aid making sure that he was not in danger before putting him on a stretcher to take him to the emergency room. Meanwhile, Raul contacted Tiny to speak with Ashley...

Ashley and her family along with butler Tiny, Ruffy, Harumi, Fumika, and Sato were all inside the hospital where they had taken grandmother Hanada who's in critical condition this time. She had a severe heart attack and they need to do a bypass operation. Everyone was afraid that she might not make it out alive...
