Chapter 373 - She's Better Off Dead.

As soon as they were seated in the car, Inday took out her cellphone to call Ashley, and she was about to input her number before Naomi quickly grabbed her cellphone. Inday's jaw dropped in shock and her eyes widened.

"Excuse me, madam, that's my cell phone. Please give it back!" Inday exclaimed, waiting for Naomi to give her phone back. 

"Did I claim that it was mine? I'm merely holding on to it for you. Don't worry, I'll return it to you, once I get what I want of course. So now, be a good girl and sit!" Naomi yelled at Inday. 

Then she turned her attention to Juanita and did the same to her. 

"Young lady, hand me your cell phone too. Or I'll have to force you to." She threatened Juanita, holding her hand out and waiting for Juanita to give her cellphone to her.

Juanita was thinking of lying and saying she didn't have a cell phone, but suddenly, it rang, and everyone clearly heard it. 

There was nothing she could do but take it out and give it to Naomi. 

But before she gave Naomi her phone, she sighed in relief when she saw the person calling was Ashley. She knew that Ashley would realize something is wrong soon enough, and if she didn't reply to her call, Ashley would definitely start getting worried.

Meanwhile, at the resort, there was nothing Tanaka could do but call his mother. He knew Tanaga was angry, so he decided to call her and try to at least talk some sense to her. 

Just after one ring, and Naomi answered the call almost immediately.

"I guess you figured out that the children are gone? If that's what you're worried about, the answer is yes. Oh, and the nannies are also here with me. If you want what's best for them, be a good son and tell your sister-in-law what I want if she wants to get her children back. Do you understand me?" She asked before swiftly ending the conversation without letting Tanaka reply. 

But what she didn't know was that her son was already awake, and was ready to kill her on the spot.

"What do I do now?" Tanaka racked his head, wondering what to do now. He thought of calling his mother again, but Naomi was one step ahead and had already turned off her cellphone, so his call went straight to her voicemail.

Now, Tanaka is also angry with his mother. He could not believe that their mother was so greedy. The fact that she kidnapped her own grandchildren just to get what she wanted was monstrous. 

With nothing else to do, Tanaka went to his brother to inform him of how the phone call went. 

"She didn't let me speak one word. She only told me that she did kidnap the children to get what she wanted. Do you know what she meant?" He asked Tanaga.

When Tanaga heard this, his face turned red. When he was about to speak, Ashley grabbed his arm and held him back.

"Tan, your brother has nothing to do with it. Don't blame it on him. He did nothing wrong, just because he's your brother doesn't mean you could blame him. Just calm down, and we'll figure out what we should do." Ashley reasoned, giving Tanaga a sweet smile, causing Tanaga to calm down and start thinking about what they should do. 

Tanaga decided to call everyone to meet to decide what to do with his mother.

After a while, everyone came back and they all started planning what to do next. 

Tanaga broke the silence. 

"Tiny, have you traced where they are?" Tanaga asked. 

Tiny nodded quickly. "I've traced them to a hotel. I'm sending my staff to the hotel where Naomi brought the twins, Inday and Juanita. But they're under my orders and won't do anything until I allow them to, so what do you plan to do?" 

"Tell them to bring all of them back here. I'm trusting you to make sure nothing wrong happens to the children, Inday and Juanita. And ask your staff to bring Naomi here. Lock her up in one of the rooms, and make sure she doesn't find a way to escape. I'd like to speak to her myself." Tanaga ordered. 

"Okay, right away Mr. Jones." Tiny quickly replied before he left to take care of Tanaga's order.

When Tiny left to follow Tanaga's orders, he ordered everyone to be prepared for everything to be ready when the children arrived, so they could go to Houston immediately.

When Ashley, Tanaka, and Tanaga were the only ones left in the living room. Only then did Tanaka have the courage to speak. 

"Brother, what do I plan to do with our mother? Will you imprison her for what she did?" Tanaka asked.

Tanaga didn't immediately answer his question. Instead, Ashley was the one he addressed.

"Dear, can you leave Tanaka and me first. We need to talk, alone." Tanaga asked sweetly. 

Ashley wouldn't have agreed, but when she saw that her husband's face, she decided to give in.

Before Ashley left, she looked at Tanaka. Her eyes told him that if something went wrong, her husband would break down. 

Tanaka nodded, understanding it completely.

It was only then that Ashley took a deep breath and left, did she burst into tears.

The two brothers didn't notice, so they continued to talk. 

Tanaga replied to Tanaka's question. 

"As for that woman, I have no intention of imprisoning her because it will damage the name of the THJ Group. But this is the last time I will ever talk to her. I will cut all my ties with that woman. I'll raise my children in hopes that they will not remember that horrible woman as their grandmother. She doesn't even have the right to call me her son, or be called my mother."

Tanaka breathed a sigh of relief when he heard Tanaga's answer. Tanaga was right. This was the best thing to do. 

He gave him a sad smile. 

"Thank you brother, but she is still the woman who gave birth to us. I agree with you, what we should do to her is punishment enough, but it will take some time getting used to," he admitted.

Less than an hour later, Tiny and his group were back with the children, Inday and Juanita. 

Inday came running towards them, carrying one of the twins straight to Ashley's embrace. She was so scared, that tears poured down her face as she came running. 

While Ashley was comforting her, Fely took the baby from her gently.

"Everything is alright now. Stop crying. It's okay. What about you go wash your face and wipe those tears away." Ashley bantered, making Inday stop crying.

"I swear I didn't know that she had evil intentions. I never guessed in a million years that a grandmother would think of kidnapping her own grandchildren for money. She's so wicked!" Exclaimed Inday in horror.

Meanwhile, Juanita also came in carrying the other twin, she seemed way too calm for someone who had just been kidnapped. Even though she was initially afraid, she realized that Naomi has no ill intentions for the children.

Therefore, she remained relaxed and played with the baby until someone rescued them. She wasn't wrong, because after less than an hour, Tiny and his staff showed up, and rescued them, returning them all back to where they belonged. 

"I'm so glad to be back. Mr. Jones, would you like to hold your baby?" Juanita offered. When Tanaga spread his hands, gesturing to hold his child, Juanita quickly handed the baby over, excused herself, and ran as fast as she could towards the restroom. 

Everyone quickly gathered their belongings and began loading it into the vans that would take them to the airport. Arnold and Arnel, who originally planned to stay behind, followed suit after they decided to cut their vacation short immediately after they heard what had happened to the twins. 

Tanaga ordered everyone to head for the airport, which left four people left. Tanaka, Naomi, Ashley, and himself. Everyone else followed his order, leaving with the two bodyguards to accompany them. 

Tanaka, Ashley, and Tanaga would follow right away once they take care of some unfinished business with Naomi.

Once everyone was gone, Tanaga asked Tanaka to bring their mother to the living room to have a heart to heart talk. Tanaga knew that she would never stop until she got what she wanted, so, he decided to give it to her, if it meant not seeing her ever again. 

Naomi had a smug look on her face when she entered the living room. She didn't think what she had done was wrong, thinking of it merely as a cruel joke. She didn't even know Tanaga was awake, but boy, was she in for a surprise. She didn't harm anyone, so she didn't think she was going to get in trouble. 

Well, she thought wrong because Tanaga was already waiting for her. And from the way he was shooting daggers at her, she's better off dead.
