Chapter 391 388- Disaster At Sea (1)

As the Ocean bubbled in anger, a giant hand made of water suddenly began rising up from it.

Yang Su and everyone on board the ship had their hearts quiver upon sensing the heaven-shaking and earth-shattering power the hand contained.

'This is beyond what I could ever accomplish with my current strength. Is this the power of an absolute powerhouse? To have only a mere clone of theirs being able to wield strength at the Nascent Soul Realm? No wait, this strength feels beyond what a Nascent Realm cultivator could accomplish, a Soul Transformation Realm clone?'

Meanwhile, Yang Su and these disciples were in shock, the water hand fully rose up from the Sea and came slamming down on the second wall. The scene resembled a hand swatting a fly.

"Old man South Border, do you think you can continue to protect the last surviving member of the Leviathan Race from me? In trying to do so you have incurred my wrath and now the only outcome is your border and all the others' destruction. All those lives lost will be because of your foolish actions to stand in my way."

Sea King Modu spoke with condescension and in a threatening tone as the water palm caused the void to tremble on its path to destroy the second wall.

However, the voice of old man South Border echoed out.

"You're being conceited Sea King Modu."

The second wall then shone with a dazzling light and a much smaller golden palm materialized to clash with Sea King Modu's water palm.

Despite being smaller, the golden palm from the second wall was condensed with a heaven-destroying power. It easily destroyed the water palm when it made contact. There wasn't even a contest of strength, it was just directly destroyed without any resistance.

In addition, when Sea King Modu formed his water palm from the sea's water, many of the Sea Beasts were caught up in the palm and were trapped. They were all eradicated in body and soul when the palm was destroyed, only leaving a rancid smell of blood that washed over the battlefield and bombard everyone's senses.

However, the golden palm from the second wall didn't stop after destroying Sea King Modu's water palm, instead, it continued forward intending to destroy his clone.

"You dare try to attack my wall when you're only here with your clone? Though even with you're original body here there wouldn't have been a difference."

Old man South Border's voice echoed out as the golden palm slammed into King Modu's clone. The momentum of the golden palm continued and it crashed into the sea below, causing a large palm print to be imprinted in the water.

To show how terrifying this attack was by old man South Border, even after the golden palm had faded away, the palm print still remained in the water. And judging by the depth of this palm print, it went all the way down to the sea floor.

But not a single man or Sea Beast would dare get close to this palm print to confirm this, as the power from it that was distorting the void could annihilate them within the blink of an eye.

"Such terrifying power."

Yang Su mumbled to himself as he looked at the palm print. His gaze then turned back to the second wall, wondering who that person called old man South Border was and how strong was he for him to destroy a Soul Transformation clone with one palm attack.

Rumble

Yang Su suddenly felt the ship begin to move, and he watched as the second wall quickly began getting further and further away.

They had started their journey to the Star Bound Continent.

"Senior disciple brother."

While Yang Su was still replying to the scene he just saw in his mind, he heard Jun's voice from behind. Turning around he saw Jun, as well as Fei Yin, approaching him.

Jun wore an anxious expression as he said to Yang Su.

"Senior disciple brother, I'm getting a bad feeling about this trip."

"Jun, it's going to be fine. If it's because of what happened before, then there's no need to worry really."

Fei Yin said, and it sounded like he had been trying to calm down Jun for a while now.

"Elder brother, tell him that he's only being overly sensitive."

Fei Yin said to Yang Su hoping he would be able to calm Jun down.

In response, Yang Su looked at him weirdly and asked.

"Why do you keep referring to me as elder brother?"

Hearing this, Fei Yin smiled and said.

"Do you not want me to call you elder brother? You were the one who insist we did before."

Yang Su remained silent with his gaze on a smiling Fei Yin for a moment.

Yang Su eventually looked away while saying.

"I don't care what you call me."

Jun looked between Fei Yin and Yang Su and sighed in his heart. He could hear the distance when Yang Su spoke to Fei Yin.

'Senior disciple brother probably still resents brother Yin for what happened back then. This isn't good, we shouldn't be in a situation like this, we should be united as a group until we find Master.'

Jun began sulking as this situation had been perpetually ongoing since Li Shen disappeared, and he saw no way to remedy the situation.

Yang Su saw Jun sulking and he raised his hand to pat his head similar to a certain someone.

"It's going to be fine junior brother, we'll safely get to the Star Bound Continent with General Chun's help and then we can look for Master."

Jun looked up at Yang Su and nodded, opting not to voice his current thoughts.

Meanwhile, this was happening, the ship had already reached its top speed breaking the sound barrier with a sonic boom.

It soon became almost impossible to see it on the horizon from the second wall, however, just before it fully disappeared the figure of a man appeared in the void next to the palm print in the sea.

This man wore silk robes that looked too big for his emaciated body. And along with his eyebrows that were like swords, squinted eyes that seem like they couldn't fully be open, a hook-like nose as well as thin lips; this man's appearance would make one immediately think he was a shrewd and conniving individual that had a million different thoughts on how to scheme against his enemies running through his mind at all times.

And currently, this man's squinted eyes were watching the Mercenary Association's first carrier that soon disappeared over the horizon with wrap attention.

Suddenly, from between his forehead, a drop of purple blood appeared from under his pale white skin. However, it seemed more like a projection of the actual thing.

The man's heart shook when it appeared, and he then muttered.

"For the drop of essence blood to be reacting like this, something good must be on that ship comparable to that runaway child's blood. If I were to absorb it and then the child's bloodline, I might be able to transform my Nascent Soul into a Divine Soul. No, with my current accumulated comprehension I might even go beyond that, I might step into the mythical Heavenly Palace Realm."

For the first time in centuries, this man's heart began to beat erratically. The only time it had beat so vigorously was when he had been a mere Rank 2 beast and had accidentally discovered that ancient manually from that wounded Core Formation Realm that suddenly teleported in front of him.

Truly a sign that the heavens had blessed him with immense fortune.

And surely this was a sign that a great fortune comparable to that ancient manual that allowed him to go from a mere Rank 2 beast to becoming the Sea King was on that ship.

An eager and malicious grin formed across Sea King Modu's face as his figure was sucked into the Sea below and disappeared.
