I think about Princess Lily.
If she recovered her memories from when she was the ‘Third Seat of Immorality’, she should figure out where the next points are. The problem is how do we bring back her memories.
But as I think about everything that happened recently, and rack my brain to come up with a good idea, I start hearing a booming sound from far away.
It’s the middle of the day, but it sounds like fireworks being fired one after the other.
“What is this sound?”
I tilt my head and try to listen more closely, while having a bad feeling about it. And then there’s a very loud knock on the door to Kahelone’s room.
“Actor Kahelone!”
“Sister Reese? Come in.”
Sister Reese jumps into the room half-way through Kahelone’s answer with a parchment in hand.
“We have an urgent message from the sisters in the castle! They are being attacked, and their attackers have some sort of unknown divine protection.”
Kahelone’s face turns pale as she hears this.
“Kahelone, can the sisters in the castle fight?”
“A little, but they were assigned to the royal castle after the royal family requested their presence for the sake of religious ceremonies and repentance of troubled individuals. And there aren’t supposed to be any actors there today. If the enemy is using divine protection, they won’t be able to deal with it. Of course, there are knights in the castle, but depending on the nature of this divine protection, even they…”
I hear that noise from afar again, intermittently.
“Rust.”
“Yes, let’s go. I’m curious about this unknown divine protection.”
“Very well. I will be ready in a minute, so let us meet at the entrance to the church. Reese!”
Kahelone says as herself and Reese take off running.
“Yes! How many of us are going?”
“There is a chance that this church will also be attacked. We need to at least safeguard the bishop…”
Their voices sound more and more distant as they run off, and I’m about to start preparing too when something crosses my mind.
Which way is the entrance…
But then someone calls out to me.
“Master Rust, I will guide you!”
“Thank you!”
I follow the sister as we both walk quickly.
