“What is that!? I cannot lose with the power granted to me by the magnificent goddess Araysla!”
Yells Seilook. His cheeky tone from before is sounding disturbed now.
He opens his mouth wide, with even more compressed light inside. And then he fires another dragon breath.
It looks like he’s putting everything he has into this one.
This very thin breath is fired straight towards Eve, who is holding its sword up.
Eve blocks the dragon breath with its ancient dragon shield, and hides half its body behind it.
And again, the dragon breath vanishes when it touches the shield.
“That can’t be… It can’t be!”
Seilook stops the dragon breath and instead swings his claws. The blades formed by their trails fly towards Eve, and the way they move kind of remind me of a kid throwing a fit.
The blades attack Eve, but some are sucked into the shield, some bounce off the helmet, and some do nothing more than shake the giant roses a little.
Suffice to say, none reach Eve’s body.
Eve keeps holding the shield as it takes a big step forward, a movement aided by Rose.
The vines are expanding and contracting, acting like sort of pseudo muscles.
With the support of Rose, Eve accelerates in an instant.
It’s so fast in fact, that Seilook twitches in fear.
Seilook fires a dragon breath in desperation, but it’s clear that its concentration is weak. He panicked and fired it any way he could.
And of course, it’s sucked into the shield. It actually looks like that band of light is helping connect Eve to Seilook.
Eve puts its mass behind a diagonal swing that leaves a flash of light behind, and creates a deep crimson trail that rapidly approaches Seilook.
Seilook keeps firing its dragon breath, but it meets the trajectory of the deep crimson blade.
It holds for just a moment, before it easily crumbles.
The sword transformed into a deep crimson light cuts the dragon breath, and easily severs Seilook’s claws when he holds them up to try to protect himself.
And finally, the blade catches Seilook.
