Chapter 55 - A Surprise Attack 3

The Taliban's Commander was shot in the head, he died instantly with his eyes open wide....

Arriane and Mikhael's men along with Jarren and Andrew run to check out the commander's pulse if he is still alive. Andrew reaches the commander's position first and touch the side of his neck for a pulse beat. He shakes his head and closes the man's eyes

The boy they rescue walked over to them, they kicked the dead man while crying and cursing at the dead man.

Later, Arriane learned from Mikhael that the boys were kidnapped by the Taliban's group. They were abused by the commander every day. The Commander turns out to be a man who loves to abused young boys before they let him trained when they get a little bit older.

The boys can't do anything about it. They only hope that one day, when they learned how to fight and use a gun they will take revenge at him. But that time didn't come, instead, Arriane and her groups came and they were rescued.

They hope now that Mikhael can help them go back to their families.

Arriane let the boys return to the camp in the mountains with the rest of Mikhael's men, the others return with Andrew and Jarren on a chopper.

When Andrew and Jarren fly the helicopter back to the camp, Arriane asked Mikhael to take her to the airport in his jeep.

She walked over to the Jeep and take her backpack at the back seat, She took some money and chocolates out of the backpack and gave it to Mikhael.

Arriane: Here... take it.... Used the money to buy things that your family needs.

Mikhael hesitated, Arriane already helped his people and his family accepting money from her is too much...

Arriane: Come on.... take it...... this money is really for you and your family. Of course, the chocolates are for the children.

Mikhael accepted the money and the chocolates, he then smiled at Arriane awkwardly and gave her a hug as tears fall down his face.

Mikhael: Thank you....

Arriane get in the passenger seat and wait for Mikhael to start the Jeep.
