Chapter 62 - Disabling The Bombs

The man from the disposal bomb unit found the last bomb but they cannot take any action to disable the bomb. They found it attached to a chair or rather at a steel bench outside the control room. The bomb wirings are a little bit different than the other two bombs that Arriane has just disabled.

Arriane asks the man if they have a metal saw that they can use, to saw the steel bench. They need to cut the steel bench in half so that they could have a clear view of the bomb and the wirings.

The man run towards boxes of tools and took out a metal saw. He proceeded to cut the bench in half, worrying that the bomb would explode anytime.

When the man is done, Arriane carefully try to remove the bomb from inside the bag. When the bomb is removed from the bag she carefully inspected the wires.

The wire is indeed a little bit tricky and different from the other two bombs. It is a little bit difficult to disable it.

As she closely inspected the wire, the other half of the bench fall on the ground, creating a loud sound.

BAM.......

All the men around Arriane jump up from fright. They were all startled by the sudden fall of the steel bench the loud sound that it created.

Arriane laughed out loud as she the men cowering beside her, she didn't expect them to be so nervous, knowing that they are all used to bomb explosions as they are working at the bomb disposal unit. She didn't know that they are very sensitive to loud sounds.

Arriane: ha ha ha ha ha ha ha look at your faces, it looks as if you all have seen a ghost just now.

Bomb Disposal leader: please stop laughing, this is no joke!!! you might accidentally pulled out a wire that will trigger the bomb to explode.

The bomb disposal leader said embarrassed by the way he acted. All the other members of the bomb disposal unit and the airport security staffs scratch their heads, feeling ashamed.

Arriane: I know very well that this is not a joke, but y'all are the one's making a joke out of yourselves. You're all working on a bomb disposal unit, and yet you are all scared at even a slightest sound???

how did you passed the training if you are acting like that in front of a ticking bomb??? Arriane questioned and criticized them, disgusted by the way they act in front of her.
