Chapter 63 - Disabling Bombs 3

After admonishing and scolding all the men working for the bomb disposal unit and their leader, Arriane turned her back to them and started working on the bomb trying to find the wire that would stop the number on the counter from counting.

As she examines it closely she found a wire attached to the bomb and the steel bench. She carefully examine it and found that the wire is connected directly to the bomb. It would trigger the bomb to explode if someone accidentally pulled it since it was barely noticeable. If she didn't examine the wirings closely she would not be able to find it herself.

She told all the men to move away from her, as she is afraid that one of them may accidentally pull it out.

Bomb disposal leader: What's the matter??? is there any problem??? The leader of the bomb disposal unit asks he doesn't want Arriane to be implicated if there is any problem that occurred. Disabling the bomb is their job and responsibilities, they can't let Arriane suffered the consequences because she is just an outsider who is trying to help.

Arriane: Nothing, I just don't want anyone near me they may accidentally pull this wire that will trigger the bomb to explode. Arriane answered as she pointed out the wire that was attached to the bench and the bomb. The men finally walked a little farther away from where Arriane is working trying to disable the bomb. After a while, Arriane asks for the clamps and the cutter. The bomb disposal leader walked over near Arriane and passed the cutter and the clamps.

Arriane: thank you. Arriane thank the man as she took the clamps and the cutter. After that, she proceeded to put the clamp on both ends of the red wire and the blue wire. She cut the blue wire first before she cut the red wire completely.

The number on the counter of the bomb stop counting, everyone heaved a sigh of relief as they saw the number stop.

Arriane give the cutter back to the bomb disposal leader, he took it back with a trembling hand as his knees felt weak. This is the first time that they encountered that kind of bomb, thanks to that beautiful woman the problem is solved.
