Chapter 95 - Chapter 94

((( ERIEZ )))

He remained silent for a moment.

"Feelings? How could you even know what I feel?" he was indifferently staring at the star-filled sky outside the opened balcony.

"She's pathetically happy now…"

"She's getting married!"

He shoved off my hand weakly.

"Whatever I feel for her is useless now."

Good Lord, he finally admitted!

I smiled secretly but Wenziel didn't bother to hide his smirk. After the few years we spent waiting, we heard a miracle.

James, your boy's in love...

"There's always a chance. And you'll just hate yourself more if you let this pass," my words were not more than a whisper.

"Don't let your doubts defeat you. Do something to get her before it's too late."

I knew he needed some time. But we'll keep our hands moving while he's still drowning himself in sadness. We'll make their paths cross no matter how fate forbids.

I took one final look at him before leaving

"…And besides, a Zel Cantheliz always gets whatever he want…"

(CLAIRE)

Those furious eyes…

I want to stare at them again. I want to feel his hurt and strangely felt mine too. I want to call him back but who am I to do so?

He's a billionaire. I'm a street rat.

I want to cry…

"I think the two of you need to talk again," Deo broke the silence.

After all the things I've done, Zhio was still thoughtful enough to make sure I get home safe.

"D-do you think Zhio's mad at me?" I stuttered.

He surely was.

He pouted.

"I wouldn't know. But at that moment…I knew he's about to tell you something important."

I raised my brows.

"What is it?"

He shook his head and just smiled.

I was suddenly…greatly curious.

"Talk to him," he suggested, "maybe tomorrow?"

"That's if he'd still want to talk to me after I ignored him,"

I crossed my arms and stared at the darkness outside.

"I can fit you in his schedule. Leave it to me," he did the okay sign.

"And the coat he lent you was worth millions. You should return it."

I knew he was teasing but it was true. I still owe him that.

"Sure. And I'll cook something for him as peace offering."

He nodded. And just like the last time, he knew exactly where to take me. I finally understood how he knew where I lived. Money could do anything as easy as knowing where a person lived.

"Thank you Deo. And tell Zhio my thanks too."
