I was worried something bad happened to her so I made up a story to tell her family.

I told them she went with my parents in a vacation and luckily, they fell for it.

Thankfully enough, her brother wasn't there when I visited their house else I'd be another punch bag for his rage.

It will be a while before I go back and face everyone.

And in the course of my absence, I've asked my friends I've been with that night for the whereabouts of Claire.  

They should know.

But almost all of them has hidden and it made me intensely worried that something bad really happened to her.

I would not be able to forgive myself if it was indeed true.

Until one day… Although knowing that my friends where avoiding me, I secretly waited in front of their house.

Maids usually greet me and tell me none of them were around.

But in that fortunate chance I saw one of them go out of hiding.

I walked out my car as tried to contain my anger.

"Bro," I called out.

He turned around in surprise and stepped back when he saw me.

"…hey bro, it's been a whi---." My fist greeted his cheek.

He almost toppled down.

"Yes, it's been a while since we saw each other," I yelled, "Where's my fiancé?" I kicked him.

"Where is she?" The maids emerged from inside but none of them dared to interfere.

"Are you deaf?"

I yelled again as two of my men approached to help him stand.

"Where's my fiancé?" I punched his stomach.

"Enough," he coughed, "Few men took your girlfriend…they looked like the servants of Zel Cantheliz."

I kicked the space between his legs like a soccer ball. He shrieked and curled like a centipede.

"And you fuckers were hiding from me?" Zel Cantheliz's men…

"Are you really sure that Zel Cantheliz's men took her?"

"Yes," he forced himself to say, "I recognized the pin they were wearing."

"Just be fucking sure or else I'll come back here to beat you again…and don't ever attempt to hide from me because I will find you wherever in hell you go to."
