"Yes. You've been that weird. You always think the food I cooked for you is delicious."

"Really?" she scooped a spoonful of her breakfast and tasted it.

Her face frowned badly.

"So how does that taste like?" I grinned at her.

"Bitter…" I laughed, "Now you knew I couldn't be a chef for you so don't ever make me cook again. Think of better things you'd crave for next time."

"Question is," I challenged him, "Would I still get pregnant?"

"Depends if I—ouch!"

She suddenly hit my nape.

"Hey, slow down. You might kill Kevin's Daddy."

"Good that you know."

"You're so selfish, don't you think so?"

"Only with you," she gave me a half smile.

"Thank God I'm ain't a flirt."

"Yes you are."

She was about to hit me again but I stopped her hand before she could lift it high.

"Thank God you didn't give up," her eyes looked at me gently.

"Give up?"

"Give up with cooking us food. I know your time is precious." I laughed a little,

"I almost gave up…if you didn't eat what I cooked for you although it tasted bad. And the most difficult part was to give you both my undivided attention. But honestly, I learned a lot from it Claire…"

"What did you learn?"

"That I looooooovvvvvvvvveeee you bot----."

She stomped on my foot.  

"Stop it," I chuckled, "they might think I gave you a love spell to fall that hard for me."

"Maybe you did."

"Whatever," she rolled her eyes at me.

I pulled her back to the sofa, "stay here."

"Don't you have a meeting?"

"That's why I want you to stay with me right now. I'll be gone for five days after this…and I'm sure you'll gonna miss me a lot."

"Five days?!"

"Yup."

"What if you don't go?"

I squeezed her cheek.

"I have to. That meeting is important to the company. But if you think you'd just nag me to death to go back early again…surely I'll not go there."

"Your attendance is important…so…I have no good reason to stop you from going. Don't worry about us, we'll be fine."
