She was surprised when I took her hand.

"Because as soon as I got back to the country, I want you to be my wife legally. I want you to officially be Claire Zel Cantheliz." I fitted her the ring perfectly.

"I want you to be part of my life as my wife and I'm going to love you endlessly," I kissed the back of her hand.

Her eyes wetted like glass and I'm pretty sure she was extremely surprised.

"Why are you crying?"

She hugged me briefly and faced me with little quivers.

I tapped my fingers on her forehead and watched her blush.

I took Claire's hand and escorted her out the room.

Downstairs, we've prepared a long table for the guests.

She rushed to meet them and was immediately approached by her father.

"Clarita!" her sister Nadine scolded her, "how could you treat him like that?!"

"Because he owes me a lot."

Her pregnant sister looked like she wanted to sit down so I pulled a seat for her.

"Th-thanks." I just smiled.

Her tummy was also big and I guessed it was six months through.
