It was surprising.

She stood up in quivers and sat to the other corner of the room.

Her face was soaked in tears.

"Miss Claire…"

"Do go near me!" her mood scared me.

I went back outside to give her some space.

"Headmistress…"  

The other maids looked curious and worried.

"Oh God. What's happening to her?" I murmured.

I called Dr. Eriez because not even Claire's OB could calm her down. The doctor immediately arrived to check on her.

"Get the tranquilizing medicine," he shook his head at her and looked at me, "Does Zhio knew about this?"

I shook my head back at him.

"Good."

He looked at the nurse, "the syringe please."

"Don't come near me," Claire screamed again as the other nurses approached to restrain her movements, "Please!"

I was in between pity and guilt as she began crying hard once more.

But as the medicine started taking effect, she slowly dozed off to sleep.

"What happened to her," Dr. Eriez looked at me again.

"What happened outside?'

"I don't know exactly but she started acting like that when somebody approached her."

"Who?"

"Derick…"

(ERIEZ)

"Derick…"

That was bad news.

"Don't tell Zhio what happened. Let him finish his business abroad before any of this get to him. I know he'll break every rules just to get back here if he knew."

I knew he deserves to know but there's nothing he could do about the situation even if he gets back to the country and do what he thinks the situation called for.

And I knew with all certainty that Zhio would think the situation called for a fist fight or even bloodshed with Derick Brundon.

I called Wenziel's men who took Claire that day may fortnights ago. And it was indeed a trauma on her part. They saw Derick's friends sexually harassing her.

"This isn't good," I told Sya, "But as much as we could, Zhio shouldn't know about this."

I know there would be war…

It'll be a secret, I agreed.

But it burdened me more than anybody else in the mansion.

It was my fault for taking her outside the mansion and if something bad happened to her and her baby, I'd bear the guilt for it.
