((( Rhio POV's )))
But two meters away from the gates of the villa, our car stopped.
"What's the problem?"
"Sir, the first convoy stopped." I was suddenly worried.
There were three cars waylaid ahead of the first convoy.
"What's the problem Rhio?" a familiar voice yelled. It was Derick.
He's with his men. My men went out their cars too.
"Just stay here," I turned to Jasmin before disembarking the car.
"What's this show you're trying to pull up again, Derick?"
"Where's Jasmin?" I smirked, "Why? Do you want to put her in danger again?"
"No. I just want to talk to her." I shook my head, "Do you think I'm going to let you?"
"I'm sorry for what happened to her. I really just wanted to talk to her."
"No. You heard what I said so please move your trash out of our way."
I was about to turn away from him when I heard him pull out a gun. My men and his men pulled their own guns too.
"Oh well," I faced him again, "Seems like you haven't learned your lesson."
"Take Jasmin out," he yelled, "or else I won't hesitate to shoot you!"
It wouldn't be a problem if…
"Zh-Rhio," it was Jasmin. She was surprised to see Derick.
"Derick…" her tears fell. But to my own surprise, she started walking towards him.
I tried to stop her but she didn't listen. She never let her gaze leave Derick until she was only a couple of feet away from him. I didn't know what to do when she finally got close to him and touched his gun. And slowly, she took it from Derick.
"I don't think guns could ever solve our problem," she threw it away. "You're a good person, Derick. We could just talk this out."
I was breathless when he suddenly hugged her.
