((( Jasmin POV's )))
"What time are you leaving?"
"After you leave. Aren't you going to work today?"
"Yes," his voice trailed off a little, "…Do you still have to go?"
"Don't tell me you want to break your promise again?"
"I want to. Tell me what else you need, I will give you."
Freedom Rhio.
Freedom.
I pinched his side and smiled, "There's no taking back. A promise is a promise. I'll hate you if you'll forbid me from going."
"You always hate me." I gave the roses to the maids and sat on the chair he pulled for me.
And as we ate, I secretly stared at him. Whenever he was like that… Whenever his eyes were smiling… I hated to believe he has done something as evil as a massacre.
After we ate, Dr. Niel arrived.
"I think the two of you have something important to talk about," I said, "I'll go upstairs first."
He just nodded. I walked out the dining and walked silently.
They said before I came into the mansion, it was a very quiet place. But my existence messed up the silence.
When I came into the household… People learned to be alarmed.
There've been laughter because of my stupidity.
And most of all, the mansion got its color back.
Could you believe…shouting, arguments, and flirting existed??!
No, only Rhio does that. No.
The mansion tasted again laughter and sadness… I've stayed at the place for seven months…and more if my escape would fail. Seven months of boredom….because Rhio has been too strict.
But I have to admit that without Rhio, my life wouldn't be as colorful as it has been. Although I'm grateful, I had to give up. I had to forfeit my love for him. It was hard to believe that somebody like him, the sky, would step down to meet me, the earth.
Did he really love me? Or he loved me because I have his heir?
But… Was Kevin truly his?
I'm afraid to know. I knew the moment I leave the mansion, mixed emotions would rule the place. Mixed emotions would rule over Rhio.
My decision would hurt him. But I'd still choose to leave his world…
