((( RHIO POV's )))
I wanted to kick my f.u.c.k.i.n.g useless men.
F.u.c.k.i.n.g idiots. I punched the chief protection security officer.
F.u.c.k.i.n.g useless.
A woman escaped them?!
My ass…
Not to mention, they let Jasmin run like a track and field athlete.
She's pregnant!
"Did you want to kill Jasmin? She's pregnant! All of you go eat shit because you're all dumbasses!"
They didn't even capture that car's plate number so I was left lividly wondering who helped her get away.
F.u.c.k! Shit!
((( JASMIN POV's )))
When I woke up…something shuffled from the bedside.
"Mama!" the little girl scurried away from me.
The door to the room opened and a woman emerged. The little boy that helped me earlier came in too.
"You're finally awake…"
"How'd you feel?" the little girl asked in her cute little voice.
"Where am I?"
"Inside our house," the boy answered.
"You fell unconscious earlier. I was about to take you to the hospital but I saw the news…" the woman said. She let her kids go out first before looking back at me.
"What did it say?" I asked.
"You're Rhio Zel Cantheliz's fiancé, aren't you?"
"…I am."
"They're looking for you. Whoever could tell the police your whereabouts would get a reward money. That's practically like a bounty…so I know people would prowl everywhere for you," her gaze was empathic, "…so now, tell me why you left you fiancé? I can give you a chance."
"Why?"
"I know you aren't a bad person," she smiled. "But I bet that CEO is mad right now."
I sat up. "I know."
"Now why did you leave?"
"Because there's no certainty if this baby is really his. I don't want him to hate us when that time comes…" I brushed off my tear, "I don't want my baby to grow up in that place too…"
Her husband went inside the room.
"You're pretty brave," he said.
"Do you know who you're making as an enemy? The Zel Cantheliz. They're quite powerful."
I nodded.
Yes. And I'm putting their family in danger just because they helped me.
"I'm Reymond," the man said then pointed at his wife, "and she's Karen."
"Thank you. I guess I'm bothering you too much already."
"No," Karen said, "We're here to help you. Right Reymond?"
He didn't answer her question but asked in return, "Did you say you weren't sure if that baby in your w.o.m.b wasn't Rhio's baby?" I nodded.
"And that's why you left?" he added.
"Reymond," Karen gave him a hard stare. "She isn't safe here…maybe right now she is but I'm not sure what'll happen in the next few days."
"I'm sorry," I bowed my head a little, "I'm going to leave this place too…"
"Yes," Karen told me, "But we'll help you escape."
After hearing his wife, Reymond walked out.
"I'll just speak to him. Rest for now, Jasmin."
