((( JASMIN POV's )))
I woke up in a series of urgent knocking against my door. I got up with a hip ache.
"Popsee."
"I'm sorry for waking you up. I know it's late but I'm sure you haven't eaten lunch and dinner yet so here I brought you food."
"Sorry for the trouble, come in."
"No worries. This is from my friend, Bam. I've told him about you, my new tenant."
"Well tell him I said thanks. I'm really hungry."'
"Then let's eat together."
"Okay."
I never thought that a day like that would come. I'm a stranger at a foreign land but somebody like Popsee came to help me out. I'm pretty sure there are many more kind people that I'll get to know in Japan.
"So where is your husband?" he asked.
I was stunned at his question so I just shook my head in response. Popsee's eyes widened.
"He ran away after getting you pregnant?"
I smiled as I remembered Rhio. He's willing to take responsibility for Kevin without any assurance that the baby was his. I've been quite a burden to him but I felt and I know that he loves me very much. And what I did I do to him in return? I left him.
"He has his own family and I don't want to ruin it," I lied.
"Nah ah, damn love. Sometimes you have to control yourself y'know. So…you're gonna raise that kid by yourself now." I nodded.
"Single mom. That's the hardest multitasking job for you 'Dy."
"Maybe I can find a job here."
"Perfect! After you give birth you can join my business. But do you have money for that delivery?"
I nodded. But I bit my lip. Money's tight, especially that I still have to buy baby stuff and things for my room.
"Let's go shopping tomorrow for everything you need ... that's if you have a budget." I guess I have to use Rhio's ATM card.
"I have. Thank you, Popsee. You're an angel."
"Oh my, I'm so flattered. Of course I have to help. We humans need save good virtues. Y'know if I die and get reborn, Father God will never confine me inside this male body again...I want to be a girl." I laughed.
"It's hard being a woman...and expensive."
"Duh," he rolled his us playfully, "Expensive? Do you know how much we gays have to spend just to appear girly?" I just smiled at what Popsee said.
Little did he know, I'm amazed at his kind. The perfect guys... are usually gays.
And so far, I'm very grateful to have met Popsee.
