Chapter 345 - 340 I'm Scared

"Where did you get that money?"

Reymond asked as we stood outside the operating room. He had just donated blood for Bhon. I breathed deeply.

"I couldn't take it anymore, Reymond. For our son, I told Rhio truth."

He looked at me without any judgment.

"She'll understand what we did, Karen. Rhio's just worried about Jasmin too." I nodded.

Bhon's recovery weighed more to me at the moment.

It's been four days since we arrived in the Japan but the search was still fruitless. Besides, Jasmin wasn't in the address that Karen wrote. We were also clueless about the identity of the guy with whom Jasmin was seen to have went with outside the airport.

The footage wasn't able to capture his face clearly and because some gays look similar made it hard to determine who's who in that video.

And there I was, talking Rhio over to stop his drinking spree.

I understood he was desperate and mad about not finding her but liquor would not find her either. I'm frustrated and angry too. But I just kept quiet. Not especially that Japan wasn't a favorable country for Rhio.

We couldn't just get out of that place. He's made a lot of Japanese businessmen enemies because of his business attitude. And just like that, he was losing it. If not for my job, I'd definitely kicked him already.

"Those f.u.c.k.i.n.g useless men! We've been here four days and they have nothing good to tell but failure! Jasmin's eight months pregnant! I'm worried about her. .. It's driving me crazy!" he yelled in the air.

In my current state, I'd go crazy first before Rhio does.

"Jasmin's going to give birth soon... Deo! She needs me...Deo. Where is she? " That's it.

He totally lost his mind. He was crying. I didn't try to speak anymore.

Why did Miss Jasmin choose to hurt Rhio like that?

I just listened to what he was saying as he drowned himself in liquor.

I suddenly woke up because of anxiety. I didn't know why but I felt restless.

I hugged the pillow instead as I let those nameless emotions creep up my mind.

The night has a full moon so the light from outside to the windows beside me were brighter. I was scared. I was longing for Rhio. I wanted to feel again how he hugged me whenever I felt scared or lonely.

Rhio... Rhio.

I couldn't it bear anymore so I sat up.

Having nobody else to talk to, I went downstairs and knocked on Popsee's room. He immediately opened for me.

"Oh, Karen...why are you crying?" My body moved to hug him. "Karen..."

"...I'm scared Popsee. I need him..."

That embrace... …just made me remember how Rhio embraced me and assured me that everything would be all right.
