Lu Fang and Andrea's wedding party lasted for three hours and only at the end of it when they finally had the chance to sit down together with their families and friends. Although the program allowed each table to have a picture with the couple, there was not enough opportunity to have an in-depth conversation.
Andrea joined Li Wen's party, which included Xia Ting's direct family members and that of General Lei's.
"Wen, I can't believe you'd lie for Lu Fang just like that," she mumbled as she came towards her sister.
Turning to Andrea, Li Wen replied, "Well, it was for a good cause. So why not! Besides, aren't you happy?"
"I am. I just can't believe you could bear to hide it from me. That's all," said Andrea before she went to kiss Xia Jianyu and Xia Mei, who was busy eating her slice of cake.
"Aunt, I love the cake! It is the best!" Little Mei-Mei exclaimed.
"She even ate my piece. She had too much sweet for the day and guess who will end up looking after her? It's me!" Complained Jianyu.
Andrea merely shook her head at her nephew and niece while they argued about getting more of the cake.
She smiled with satisfaction that they made the right choice with the wedding cake. After giving her greetings to everyone, she sat in between Li Wen and General Lei.
"Andrea, I am so jealous of your wedding! It was wonderful," said Chunhua, who was seated next to the General.
Hearing his wife getting envious over the wedding made Lei Dong squint, but Chunhua was quick to make up for it by saying, "but of course, our wedding was the way we wanted it and I loved it too."
Chunhua hurriedly gave him a peck on the cheek before resuming her conversation with Andrea. He remained seated in between the ladies, hearing completely their chatter.
Andrea was surprised by how Chunhua kissed Lei Dong casually. On top of that, he placed an arm around her. The last time they met, the two were not bold enough to show their affection for each other. She sighed happily, knowing it was a good sign.
"Strange, how come I did not see the both of you earlier?" Andrea asked.
"We arrived late," replied the General. "Someone could not hold the vomit."
Andrea's mouth hung open but before she could ask, Li Wen spoke from behind her, "Congratulations, you two. Finally!"
Li Wen turned to the General's mother and said, "Aunt, congratulations! You must be excited."
"Yes, I am!" said an old lady, seated next to Chunhua. It was Lei Dong's, mother, Lei Daiyu who exclaimed.
"You're having a baby?" Andrea asked.
"Yes, we are," replied Lei Dong with a thin smile on his face.
Andrea chuckled, realizing the main reason for him to change his approach towards Chunhua. She held Chunhua's hands and said, "A child makes a lot of difference. I am happy for you both."
"Andy," called Lei Daiyu. "If my grandson is a girl, we should arrange a marriage with Chevre."
Those who heard the request laughed thoroughly. Andrea, on the other hand, nearly choked at her own saliva. She smiled sweetly at Lei Dong's mother before answering, "Auntie, I prefer the children to choose their own partner as they grow old."
"Absolutely! I agree, but we can influence their choices," said Lei Daiyu while giving a wink. She went back to eating her cake freely, not minding Andrea's words.
Seeing that Lei Daiyu had dropped the topic, Andrea excused herself and went to Yeong's group, this time around. What Andrea did not know, Lei Daiyu was very serious about setting up her grandchild to the Lus. She liked Andrea and was hoping to keep her close as a family, even through her grandchild.
Lu Fang was already at the other table, sitting next to Yeong. They were drinking a bottle of wine when Andrea arrived.
She greeted Soon Yeong and Yeong Jae-won as well as her dad. She hugged Alfred tightly from behind and kissed him on the cheek saying, "Dad, thank you for coming all the way here to surprise me. You really tricked me."
"Was I any good?" Alfred asked with a teasing grin on his face.
"You were terrific, dad. I believed you! That was crazy!" She sat in the middle of Alfred and her husband then turned to Yeong and said, "If it were Yeong, my husband's plan would have been a total fail."
Yeong's eyes thinned at her sister as she tried to divert the attention to him.
"So Yanmei, when are you and bro getting married?" She teased while observing the reactions of Yeong's adoptive parents.
"I think soon, Andy," Yeong Soon said.
Yanmei blushed completely. She was ready to correct any misunderstanding when Yeong said, "Let me propose first, mother. Isn't that where it should start?"
Andrea saw Yanmei's expression. She could tell she was secretly thrilled about the possibility of marrying her brother. So she blurted out, hoping to encourage her, "You know I was the one who unofficially proposed to Lu Fang! You could simply ask my brother's hand in marriage instead, Yanmei."
"You what?" Yeong asked with his voice raised at her.
Her brother's reaction made her choked, and she tried to take it all back saying, "I'm not sure. That's how I saw it in my flashback, but maybe I was wrong. Right, babe?"
Panicked, she glared at her husband, hoping for support. Thankfully, he did a good job at it.
"No, it was I who proposed to Andy... Officially. In fact, I proposed twice," said Lu Fang as he poured wine in an empty glass then handing it over to his wife.
"So how about it, Yeong? Get married already. Have kids and give Mommy Soon grandchildren!" Andrea hastily asked. Hoping to distract her brother.
Although she was successful in putting Yeong in the spotlight, she knew it would take more than just the pressure for him to act on it. She could only wish her brother would realize Yanmei's importance before it's too late.
An hour of drinking alcohol, Andrea wanted to get changed into something more comfortable. Thus, the man helped her up to her room to get changed.
When they entered the room, they noticed disturbance coming from the dining area. They were both immediately alerted. They slowly walked to where the noises were coming from, but shortly after, they shocked by familiar voices that echoed through the room.
Both of them gasped when they soon realize their assistants were at it in Andrea's changing room. They gave them their time and came outside the suite silently.
Andrea did not get to change, but the couple was completely amused learning that Bolin and Arti were an item. As they walked back to the Grand Ballroom, Andrea said, "Babe, love is around us. I feel like we influence love to the surrounding people."
