Chapter 63 - Dream of a Tree

Lory finds herself standing in front of Giant big three with purple leaf and white trunk tree, the wind blows gently and the leaf rustling with gentle sounds, her eyes remain on the tree, there's something familiar about the tree make her feel sad and longing at the same time, her hand reach the falling tree leaf but before she can reach it she awakes.

she looks left and right, she realizes she is in her room in the underground palace, is she dreaming seems like it because Girsha is the table chewing grapes like he always does.

[Girsha!] she calls him.

[Hm…] he carelessly replied

[Did we ever encounter a tree with a purple leaf before?]

Girsha see her with 'are u still sleeping?' kinda looks [No, are you dreaming or something?]

Lory mouth twitch [I think I'm dreaming….]

[Then Get up, how long you want to sleep!!] Girsha scowled at her.

[Girsha….] she called again.

[WHAT?] he annoyed with lory keep bothering him while he eating grapes.\\

[What happened with me....?]

Girsha watches her with ridiculed eyes [You mean, why you wrapped like a dumpling?]

[Uh huh.....] Lory is on the bed wrapped neatly and tightly like a dumpling, the good thing is she doesn't feel cold at all but the bad thing is now she feels hot but she can get off from the blanket because she can't move her limbs.

[That because you are a bad girl…]

On the other room someone soaking himself for hours in a frozen chamber, Mong Ki and Mong Yi didn't understand what happened with their Lord, is he have breakthrough again but it's been six hours since he soaking himself in that freezing pool, is there something wrong with his cultivation.

While his servants are worried to death because of certain Lord also worry about his new problem.

For almost twenty years his lower part had been in deep slumber to the point he thought he might never wake up but he never thought too much about it, Zhao Li Xin never care about that small problem is not like he gonna need it anytime soon, for someone who never let woman close to him more than one half meters away from him what's the point have 'active' member.

But today he doesn't know what happened his member awakes full with glory as if he back for vengeance it took hours soaking in the frozen pool to calmed 'him' down. Even though the temperature in the room is minus zero he still feels hot, he circulates his Qi to calm his mind and body and it works, he sighed deeply when everything back to normal. He makes a noted for himself for never ever climbed his savior bed ever again.

Meantime Lory managed to get out from the dumpling wrapper, of course with the helping of certain birds who was annoyed by someone who whining and wiggled like giant caterpillar, Lory was cover with sweat when she managed to get out she decided to take a hot bath first and waiting for Zhao Li Xin, but even after long hours he still not return, she got bored then she enters Zhao Li Xin luxurious bedroom but no one there, this massive bedroom with dark wooden furniture and yellow curtains is a waste of money because she knew Zhao Li Xin is rarely sleep in his own room.

If he not working, he cultivated, if not he spent his time in Lory's room instead, no matter how you look at it, Zhao Li Xin is weird. Lory sees his gigantic bed on the corner of the room behind the wooden partition cover with yellow curtains, this bed is so big even for six people with Zhao Li Xin size sleep on it, she doesn't understand why he needs such a big bed if he barely uses it.

Lory lay down on the bed who still looks very clean and neat without sign anyone ever sleeps on it. Lory admitted the bed is so good not too hard but not too fluffy either, Lory begins to yawning even though she already sleep a lot, oh well she just does 'power nap' until Zhao Li Xin arrived.

Zhao Li Xin already changes his closed, his expression back to his stoic and indifferent expression his normal behavior calm his two subordinated who was very worried because of his weird behavior.

"Milord, Master Bei Li Yan said someone from the Liangzu Kingdom might know about it" Mong Yi has kneeled on the floor when he uttered the news "This man is working for lady Tang Yi Mei, he is under her protection we do not dare to press on, judging Lady Tang relationship with Milord"

Mong Yi's words irked Zhao Li Xin strongly "What relationship we have, careful with your words" he warns Mong Ki sternly. His word might calm and quiet but the pressure from his aura is enough shaken the Mong's Brother to the floor, they knew they had anger their Lord both of them immediately kowtow on the floor.

"Apology Milord, It won't happen again!!" Mong Ki and Mong Yi pressed his head on the floor.

Zhao Li Xin face remain the same but his anger still not dissipated "Do' not say stupid thing in front of her!" his word send chills to the both of them, when he talks about 'her' both Mong Ki and Mong Yi knew exactly who his mean, there's only one 'her' who worthy his attention.

"Yes, Milord!"

"Tell that woman, I want to speak with that man, don't try to get in my way, I don't care if her master is my master best friends, I do all the necessary…." When Zhao Li Xin said necessary the meaning is, threatening, torturing, and killing whatever is works.

"Yes, Milord!!" the Mong's brother cupped their fist respectfully.

Lory flicked his robes then he left the room without said anything further, only after they can't hear their Lord footsteps the Mong's bothers limp on the floor, both of them sigh in relief thankfully they just got away after infuriated the 'Demon Lord'

"You stupid Brother!!" Mong ki berated his younger brother.

"I know, I'm sorry..." Mong Yi wrapped his sweating forehead "I thought at least they are still good friends"

"Are you stupid, other than Miss Luo there are only two kinds of women for our Lord, the one he killed and the one he had not killed yet, Miss Tang Yi Mei is the second kind, but if one day she pushes her limits you think our lord would hesitate!!" Mong Ki really want to smack his younger brother head "Just remember other than Mis Luo Ri Yi other women is like a bug for him"

"I know, I know…." Mong Yi admitted he's being careless.

A certain Lord was bewildered when he enters the room, the perpetrator who makes him soaked in frozen pool for hours now sleep comfortably in his bed without cover herself with blanket and she wears her robes loosely showing a glimpse of her smooth collar bone, as if that's not enough his legs slightly parted in front of him reveal a little bit of her thigh, Zhao Li Xin froze on the floor he unconsciously gulped and that strange feeling return again, he avert his gaze painstakingly then he looks up the ceiling and lament to the God.
