Chapter 69 - Milord Become Silly

When the morning came Lory awaken by a beautiful man who sits across her bed, what's the point renting two-room if he ends up in her room again, what makes her more baffled is because Zhao Li Xin keep his distance further away from his bed, this man can be so weird sometimes...well most of the time.

"How long you've been here?" Lory yawn, she doesn't feel weird find him in her room without her notice.

"Just a minute ago," he said with a straight face.

Mong Yi who guards outside the room just rolls his eyes, at night Zhao li Xin will stay in his room but then he feels lonely then he came to Lory's room, when he sits on the couch watching him sleeping that uncomfortable feeling back again, he doesn't know what to do so he back to his room to appeased that 'feeling' after he calms down that loneliness come again and he back to her room again then that 'feeling' comes again he had no choice but to return to his room, it's been like that all night.

Mong Yi doesn't care anymore he pretends to be blind, he watches his Lord back and fort between the room, thankfully his swift and quiet move didn't awake Miss Luo sleep.

'Milord, what if Miss Luo found out your silly behavior…?'

Lory stretches her limbs then she got up from the bed "Shoo, I wanna take a bath!" Lory waves her hands but Zhao li Xin remains on the couch "What, don't tell me you wanna be here when I take a bath" she said jokingly.

'YES, I DO!!'

Zhao Li Xin blinks his eyes a few times "I'll be outside" he raises from the couch swiftly.

"I'm gonna take a long bath if you haven't take a bath yet then you should," Lory said casually

Zhao Li Xin's pace suddenly stops, he turns around with a surprised look. Lory doesn't understand why he looks shocked then she realizes her words might misinterpret, she chuckles awkwardly

"Alone, I mean you could take a long bath too, alone...take your time"

Zhao Li Xin still not recover from his shocked although his face not showing it, Lory sees him unmoving she raised her eyebrow "What's wrong, are you expecting invitation Milord?" Lory teases him again, for Lory this is just a simple joke, but for Zhao Li Xin her flirty gesture gives him a sudden rush to his head and down below his waist.

He feels his face become hot, he has sudden urged to live the room "No…" he said shortly then quickly leave the room in a hurry.

His quirk move amused her "Silly….." she stifles a giggle.

Zhao Li Xin slightly embarrassed then he notices Mong Yi in front of his room "Prepare my bath" he orders Mong Yi.

"Yes, milord" he answers respectfully.

"Add snow crystal in my bath" Zhao Li Xin said again with an expressionless face like everything is normal.

Mong Yi didn't bother to his Lord antic anymore "Yes, Milord!"

Mong Yi prepares to leave the room but suddenly Zhao Li Xin called him with his usual cold voice "Mong Yi…"

Mong Yi turn around and cupped his fist "Yes, Milord" he waiting for his Lord command.

"Do you think I'm silly?" Zhao Li Xin asks with a serious face.

'YOU ARE, Milord!!'

Mong Yi bows solemnly at Zhao Li Xin "No, you perfect Milord" he said firmly without change on his face "Anything else Milord?"

For the first time in his life, Zhao Li Xin feels his most loyal subordinated has to lie to him "Leave.." he signs Mong Yi to leave the room. Outside the room Mong Yi sigh helplessly then he laments inwardly.

'Brother where are you, I miss you…..'

When Lory finish taking bath and dresses up she surprised how empty the inn from yesterday, only a few elderly and normal people in the inn restaurant, Lory not thinking too much about it, she sees Zhao li Xin is eating outside the inn leisurely, well it make no different outside or inside the restaurant because two gigantic hole in the wall.

Lory doesn't know how Zhao Li Xin prepares the table and stool including big parasol above the table, Mong ki already returns, he served porridge and dumpling on the table meanwhile Mong Yi served Zhao Li Xin with a cup of wine. it should be a weird scene where you witness a high-end breakfast in the middle of nowhere but because Zhao Li Xin was there sips his wine elegantly somehow it doesn't too weird anymore.

"Eat first before we leave," said Zhao Li Xin.

"Yes," lory sit on the stool that she knew it's not something the innkeeper could afford "Smelled good, who's cooking?"

"It's meYoung miss," Mong Yi said courteously.

Lory taste the porridge and she amazed, the food is tasty "Brother Mong, I don't know you can cook, this is very good"

Mong Yi blushed slightly he did not expect Lory would praise his work "Thank you, young miss"

The breakfast is good and the weather also nice, she sees Girsha fly happily in the sky his golden long-tail glimmered brightly when the sunlight shines on him, he really is a very beautiful bird his real appearance even more majestic than this, if only he did not bind by the curse, Lory take a deep breath, it is her fault but Girsha never blamed her.

Zhao Li Xin notices her mood slightly change "Do you feel hot after we reach Liangzu the weather will get better" he comforts her.

Lory smiles at him "I'm fine…."

They took another three days before they arrived at Liang Zu kingdom, along the way Lory can't hold her excitement every time she saw beautiful scenery she will prop her head on the window carriage, she remembers the old days when she drives her car travel outside the country with her brother and friends of course is for the beast subjugation but so what they would visit foreign city, meeting interesting people and killing beast, such a day was priceless.

"We almost arrived at the capital city of Jing An," said Zhao Li Xin.

"How is the place look like?" Lory's eyes sparkled with anticipation.

Zhao Li Xin never interested with anything, so he never paid attention around him it took a moment to remember what so good about Jing An city "The city has a lot of canals and have a big river on the center, so summer season in Jiang An city is milder compared to other kingdoms"

"That sounds terrific, how's the food?" Lory acts like a kid on her school trip.

Zhao Li Xin tilted his head try to remember is there any good food in Jing An city "Hmmm…..there's a lot of tea house near the canal…and there's a lot of local pastries and sweet...I think…" not even him sure about what he said, he just faintly remembers what his subordinated talk to each other.

Lory knew Zhao Li Xin is not someone who interested in scenery and food so she not making it hard for him "I'll check it myself later" Lory mutter to herself.

"I'll join you" Zhao Li Xin adding himself in, how can he stay alone at his place when his little savior strolled alone the city, she never been here before what if she got lost, what if she meet bad people, what if she got accident, what if.....the more he thinks about the more worry he got.

Lory doesn't realize she just got another worrywart with her "Sure, it will be more fun if you come along" she smiles cheerfully.

"Ri Yi give me your hand," said Zhao Li Xin again, Lory gives her hand without thinking there's already amicable trust between them so Lory never doubts him, all of the sudden Zhao Li Xin put a ring on her ring finger, Lory feel her heart jolt from her chest this scened giving too much impact for her weak heart, she becomes flustered she literally stop breathing.

"This is the spatial ring I promised to you before" his calm word awaked her from her wild imagination. She suddenly hears the sounds of glass breaking inside her.

"Oh…oh..okay, thank you…." Lory stutter, she feels so stupid what is she thinking, there's no custom giving engagement ring in this world, if there's any it's supposed to be dowry rights, wait, why is she thinking about married now!!

"You don't like it?" Zhao Li Xin finds her reaction is strange, is she like spatial space instead but his power still not enough to created spatial space inside the ring, what should he do, should he give her his ring instead since he rarely used it.

"No no no, I like it….it is….beautiful" Lory still flustered from her previous shocked

"You sure, do you want my ring instead?"

"Huh….?"

Outside mong Ki and Mong Yi almost fall from the carriage 'Milord stop being weird for a while!!!'
