Chapter 70 - Reunion

Lory stare sits in front of the white tree with purple leaf again, the wind blows gently and the leaf makes soft rustling sounds, the sounds give her peaceful feeling, why she feels so familiar with this tree just like an old friend she hasn't met for a long time. Why her heart aching and longing at the same time, suddenly her tears fall on her cheeks.

[Lory….]

She wakes up on the bed, is she dreaming again, she touch her cheeks and she feel wet on her finger, is she crying again?

[Bad dream?] Girsha thought she dream about Harland again.

Lory shakes her head [No….i dream about a tree….]

Girsha stupefied [You cry because of a tree?]

[I guess so…] she's not sure either.

Lory got up from her bed and put that weird dream in a back of her head, she remembers today she will take a strolled with Zhao Li Xin, she can't wait to see the canal in Jing An city. In the past she went to the Velliora Kingdom once and like jing An the Velliora Kingdom also known for their thousands of canals, she wondered if Jing An city could match Velliora beauty just think about it she becomes excited, she takes a flash bath and dress quickly, without question Zhao Li Xin room is next to her, Lory not even bother to question it anymore.

After she ready, she knocks Zhao Li Xin room before she enters, there's really not much restriction for Lory when she's leaving with Zhao Li Xin and no one ever reprimand her behavior, it's so much different when she lives at Lao Manor, she always wonder why everyone looks so scared whenever they face to face with Zhao Li Xin, in her opinion Zhao Li Xin is quite docile and easy-going person.

If only Hei Shen Members hear about it never in their life would they ever put 'docile' and 'easy-going' words at the same sentences with their Lord name.

Zhao Li Xin meditating in Lotus's position on the bed when she enters the room, she didn't want to bother him so she sits on the couch quietly, she heard that meditating is like how she's learned to control her 'mana' so she did not dare to disturb him. A few minutes later he opens his eyes slowly, he sees her lay on the couch while reading a book leisurely, she lifts her head when she notices Zhao Li Xin gaze.

"Are you done?" Lory returns the book to the shelf next to her.

"Hm" Zhao Li Xin nod his head slightly "Have you had your breakfast yet?"

"Nope, I want to eat outside" she prompt.

Zhao Li Xin think is a good idea to take a stroll together "Sure"

The normal conversation between them shock the servants inside XinJing Manor, they never knew their Lord could make normal conversation, only people who use to work at Ninjing manor who didn't bother with it they already use to their Lord behavior around Miss Luo.

Mong Ki and Mong Yi already warned everyone at Xinjing Manor for not disrespect Miss Luo even a slight because the consequences are not something they can bear, at first they not understand what so special about this weak girl but when they see how good Zhao Li Xin treat her, only then they understand that is the 'Future Madam' of Hei Shen Sect.

Jing An city Is a lot more vibrant than the Jiang Wei Kingdom even the color they wear is more colorful and brighter than people in Jiang Wei, the woman also less conservative then Jian Wei women, the layer on their dress is are not as much as women in the Jiang Wei Kingdom and they also show more skin like their collarbone, the dress fabric also thinner so give better silhouette for their body.

Zhao Li Xin takes her to a small but luxurious tea house called Xiao Gezi near the lake, the waiter sees Zhao Li Xin enter with Lory he could have guessed this person is not simple even though he wears a white half mask.

"Honorable guess, welcome!" The waiter bow courteously.

Lory smiles at the waiter out of habit, she accidentally makes the waiter slightly blush and Zhao Li Xin slightly frowned "Do you have any table on the second floor?" Lory asks politely.

Lory with Luo Ri Yi's appearance might not be the most beautiful woman he ever saw but her soft-spoken and her gentle but mysterious aura can't help attracted people around her, this is her nature, not even her realize it.

The waiter a bit flustered "Yes, young Miss we have, do you want VIP room instead?"

She glances at Zhao Li Xin but because he doesn't make any comment Lory shakes her head "No, a normal table is fine" she wants to feel the ambiance of the tea house and Jing An city she won't feel anything if she secluded inside the VIP room.

The waiter leads her on the second floor, wherever they go people would stare at Zhao Li Xin and the chattered to each other try to guess his identity, but all of them conclude the same thing, that man is not someone they can trifle with.

Zhao Li Xin help Lory to climb the stairs his attentive behavior contradicts with his cold and domineering aura, people guess she might his betrothed or something, the ladies watch Lory with envy and jealousy it's rare to have a man in this world who treat their woman like that.

Lory choose the table with the lake view, she see small boat and women play near the lake there also small floating pavilion on the side of the lake it is a beautiful scened.

"Honorable guest, what would you like to order?"

"You have anything special?" Lory ask.

"Our peach blossom flower tea is the best in the area, also our sweet and spicy dumpling also the best in here," the waiter said proudly.

"Okay, I order the….peach blossom tea and the dumpling,"

"Yes, young Miss" the waiter bow then he left downstairs, a minute later he return with exquisite teapot as if he knew Zhao Li Xin noble identity, well the truth is not that hard to guess people in who work in this kinda place was trained to recognize high profile people, they can't let their worker accidentally offended influential guess.

Zhao Li Xin robes might not gaudy as noble people use to wear but judging by the fabric material they knew that kinda robes is not something they can't afford even if they work for life, the man can hide his face but he can't hide his domineering aura that can overwhelm the whole room and suffocated the normal waiter, maybe that's why wherever they go the waiter and storekeeper chose to talk with Lory instead.

The waiter left immedietly after he served the tea, lory doesn't realize the turbulence Zhao Li Xin caused while Zhao Li Xin...he just don't care at all, Lory was sips her tea when she hears the ladies yelp excitedly "Look that's the Jiang Wei Kingdom, crown prince!!"

Lory looks down and there she saw a man with luxurious royal blue robes with a Dragon embroidery on his chest to show his noble status, he's surrounded by his servants and martial expert, he attracts a lot of loving gaze from the ladies.

"Why is he here?" Lory frowned, he hates this pompous man the most.

Zhao Li Xin put down the teacup on the table gently "For Liangzu princess I presume" Zhao Li Xin said with a lack of interest. He already got a report about the situation in Jiang Eei Kindom. Even after he stops pressuring the economy in Jiang Wei kingdom but the damage is already done, the economy can recover immediately the biggest problem in Jiang Wei is the corruption that already takes a root in every sector, which Zhao Li Xin does only accelerate the inevitable situation.

The Emperor did not dare to terminate the corruptor because of the power they already gain throughout the year and with the unstable economy recently, he needs all the support he could get to strengthen his stronghold before anyone has any idea overthrown his position or worst, end his dynasty. After what happened with Zhao Li Xin people already start to question his judgment and more people express their dissatisfaction with his decision, in a normal situation the Emperor would kill anyone who dares to questioning him but unfortunately because of his Kingdom dire situation he can't act rashly.

The emperor thought he need support from other Kingdom not just to alleviate the economy situation but also strengthen his Kingdom, when he heard about what happened at Liangzu Kingdom he had an idea to marry his crown prince and princess of Liangzu if only he can cure the princess from her deep slumbered. As a Prince Zhao Mu fan wouldn't ask for title or fief because it does not makes sense, then he would ask a hand of marriage with Liangzu princess.

Suddenly Zhao Mu Fan look up to the second floor and he's stunned by a pair of cold black eyes who staring back at him, even though that man wearing a mask he knew exactly who he is, his Sixth brother Zhao Li Xin.
