Chapter 84 - Strawberry Girl

Sera was on her oh-so-perfect second date with Lucifer, and Su Yin was grumbling grumpily walking around the Lu mansion.

Su Yin had agreed to spend the night at the Lu's for Sera's sake, and here she was left alone in the huge mansion. Su Yin had called Sera multiple times but she didn't pick her calls nor responded to any of her threatening messages.

With a foul mood Su Yin had the breakfast prepared by Aunt Zhou and left the mansion. Wandering aimlessly she spotted a cafe, it was a strawberry themed cafe and Su Yin loved strawberries, Intrigued she entered the cafe without second thoughts.

The cafe's name was 'Love' with a tiny strawberry substituting the 'o' in love. It wasn't too eye catching but as a strawberry lover Su Yin it definitely caught her interest.

Su Yin forgot everything about Sera and her sour mood instantly sweetend thinking about strawberries.

Su Yin went inside the cafe, it's interior was trendy with the combination of pale pink and bright red. The tables were pale pink with their chairs and barstools laced with bright red leather.

A beautiful and elegantly dressed lady in her forties came to greet Su Yin with a smile as sweet as strawberries in syrup. Su Yin gulped unconsciously thinking about strawberries, composed herself and smiled.

"Welcome, My name is Lillian. The staff is yet to come so can you please wait..", Lillian awkwardly smiled at Su Yin, Su Yin was dressed in a black hoodie and shorts, with her hair tied in a ponytail with no makeup.

"Uh! No problem, I'm not familiar with this locality. I was just passing by..", Su Yin trailed off.

"Oh! That's okay, please make yourself comfortable", Lillian led Su Yin inside and walked away.

Su Yin sat and gazed at the menu on the table, it was in the shape of a large strawberry, she chuckled at the cute looking menu card.

Su Yin was going through the menu when a particular item on the menu caught her interest, she was stunned for a moment then looked back to confirm.

"Strawberry Girl Pie!"- - - - - speciality, on request!

Su Yin had a confounding expression on her face, she was in a trance when a man came to her.

"Ma'm would you like to order anything?", he looked at her with a wry look.

"This...", Su Yin snapped out of her and absentmindedly pointed at the menu.

"Yes, Ma'm right away..", the man nodded and left her alone.

Su Yin looked at the menu, she felt something rising inside her, her breathing was erratic. Fumbling Su Yin picked up the glass of water and gulped hurriedly, almost choking.

"Yinyin, What is this? You're baking again..", Adrian was standing near the kitchen with furrowed eyebrows.

"Adrian, I'm trying something new. C'mon taste and see if it's good", Su Yin excitedly waved her hand.

Adrian helplessly stood beside her and peered at the kitchen counter, strawberries everywhere.. he sighed shaking his head and popped a strawberry in his mouth.

Turning Su Yin over he kissed her, She gasped when he kissed her abruptly. Adrian with a sly smile pushed the sweet strawberry mush into her mouth, savoring the taste. After the kiss he whispered into her ear,

"My Strawberry Girl..", licking her ear making her knees go weak.

Su Yin was brought back to earth by a sweet voice, she looked at Lillian who was smiling at her,

"You know that's our special, Strawberry girl pie!", Lillian explained pointing to the pie on Su Yin's table.

"Oh!", Su Yin could only manage one word and looked at the pie in front of her.

"Enjoy!", Lillian walked away leaving Su Yin alone.

The pie in front of her was a combination of apple with hint of strawberry, it looked appetizing with a fresh strawberry slice and mint garnish, with a scoop of vanilla icecream.

Su Yin stared at the pie with tears pooling in her eyes. Inhaling deeply, she ate a small bite, her eyes widened in surprise. It tasted so good, she ate the whole piece in less than 3 minutes, a satisfying smile on her lips.

"So good..", Su Yin mumbled, her smile reaching her eyes.

Lillian who was standing at the counter looking at Su Yin was shaking her head, laughing with a gentle expression on her face.

"Silly girl", Su Yin did look comical eating the pie in her appearance, she looked really cute making everyone gaze at her with a smile etched on their lips.
