Chapter 217 - Sick In Your Head

"What are you saying! What do you mean you need my clothes?", Su Yin almost stumbled upon hearing his absurd words.

"Exactly what you heard and understood.. Now go, don't waste my time.. Go!", he looked around lazily and ordered her like it was a normal occurrence.

Su Yin felt her blood boil, she glared at the nonchalant man acting like a king in her own house with a strong urge to strangle him. She threw the sheet mask from her face into his head with a huff.

"Hey!!", he sputtered unhappily with a loud screeching voice looking at her with a wronged expression.

She couldn't believe this shameless man! How dare he enter her house in the middle of the night and demand ridiculous things in return with no sense of shame!!

Realizing how crude his words must've sounded Adrian internally smacked his head before plastering a smile on his face.

"It's not what you're thinking..", he finally toned down his arrogant front and behaved like a normal, down-to-earth human being.

She quirked her eyebrow with an interest, her inquiring gaze demanding a valid explanation behind his absurdity.

"It's.. My boss.. Girlfriend..", his voice low as he murmured in embarrassment.

"Huh? Girlfriend?", she caught on to the keyword omitting the rest.

The man felt his soul fly out of his body at her unique presence of mind and began regretting his decision to come here.

"It's not me.. It's my boss!! His girlfriend had no clothes to wear..", realizing that he has divulged too much information Adrian clamped his mouth shut and laughed awkwardly.

A hint of disgust and ridicule flashed in her eyes as she smiled disdainfully, his face turned pale from her hateful glare.

Turning around she went inside her bedroom to retrieve some clothes and opened the door parting her lips to mock him.

"As expected of you! Your boss is a perverted man just like you..", she was mumbling about carelessly when a large hand gripped her elbow harshly.

Adrian's ice cold blue eyes flickering with something unreadable made her heart skip a beat in fear.

Cold sweat emerged at her back and she felt a sudden chill staring at the stoic man with zero emotions on his face.

"What did you say?", he asked her in an aggrieved manner yet his voice colder than the glaciers. She felt her hand burn with stinging pain.

"I said that your boss is a perverted man!!", she was infuriated by his actions and spat angrily returning his glare.

"Are you sick in your head?", he was furious at her for spouting nonsense. Her free-spoken would definitely get her into trouble one day.

Her forthright mouth had no filter at all. How is she going to deal with tricky clients like this? He felt a headache thinking about several scenarios of her beating up people black and blue in agitation.

"What are you getting so worked up for?", she smirked at him intentionally with the purpose of irking him.

"Because he's..", my brother, you idiot woman! He wanted to scream at her.

"Because he's not like that..", he continued after regaining his composure back and stared at her unfeeling face with a hint of sadness.

"Okay! I'm wrong..", she trailed off with a knowing smile, still in a mocking tone that didn't reciprocate her insincere apology.

Su Yin turned around to look for any spare clothes in her wardrobe, rummaging through it wordlessly.

"Yinyin..", he called out in a pleading voice that stunned her, she paused and turned to look at him.

"What is it?", she could feel that he was upto no good.

"Can you.. Can you please pack a brand new outfit, preferably stylish and that you've recently purchased..", he blabbed on without noticing her ugly expression.

Su Yin's eyes twitched at his words. Brand new? Preferably stylish? Recently purchased?

"Actually.. My boss is a clean freak!", he smiled innocently ignoring the scowl on her face.

"You!!", she hissed before picking up a new outfit that was recently purchased for her bestfriend, Sera.

Gritting her teeth Su Yin sacrificed her gift with a teary smile that looked more like a dark smile of a serial killer before killing it's prey. He felt goosebumps on his skin albeit the carefree smile he had on his face as a pretense.

"Thank you!", saying that he grabbed the bag from her hands and turned around to walk out of the house.

"This man!!", she cursed looking at him scurrying away in irritation. She followed behind him to close the door after him.

"Don't come looking for me next time!", she spat in a harsh manner, he shook his head in resignation and sighed.

"Yinyin!", before she could slam the door on his face he called out for the last time.

Holding the door back in his hand he leaned forward, his lips pressed against her cold ones and he kissed her softly, putting all the feelings in his heart into the kiss.

Su Yin couldn't react sooner. A couple of seconds later her fist reached out to hit his shoulder when he caught it firmly and bit her lips in retaliation. His tongue forcefully entered her mouth drawing out her honey as he savored her sweetness.

Su Yin could feel her consciousness fading away as she was getting light-headed from his torrid kiss.

The next second he disappeared leaving a panting Su Yin with a glaring red bite mark on the side of her lips. She caught her breath and looked at the man entering the elevator and her face turned red with anger.

"Adrian you dog!!", she screamed at him vexated from his teasing. Hateful, he was purposely trying to toy with her.
