Chapter 218 - Things To Do

Sera could feel Lucifer's hot breathe on her skin igniting her senses with a burning, her heart palpitating against her chest with loud thumping noise.

"Sera..", he called out again seeing her unresponsive, his fingers caressing her milky skin under the shirt. His calloused fingers rubbing against her waist sensually before working their way towards her spine.

She never thought her name was pretty. She couldn't believe how sweet and beautiful her name sounded coming out of his mouth as though dipped in honey. She felt light, her body flying into the skies amidst fluffy white clouds, unrestrained.

"Uh..", her throat was parched, she licked her lips feeling his heated touch on her skin and melted in his arms.

Lucifer dipped forward, his warm lips gliding against her neck in such a way that she felt fine hair rise on her spine. It was tempting. She moaned softly making his heart tremble, his gray eyes glistening yet dark and he delved deeper.

Pouring all his love into his lips and raining open mouth kisses on her slender neck, his fingers slipped through the shirt and pulled the collar down exposing her white shoulders. Delicate and enticing clavicle.

Licking his way along the narrow path where her neck meets her shoulders, he was feeling every inch of her with his mouth and lips. She was writhing in his arms weakly. Soft, low moans escaped from her little mouth. Further fueling his desire for her.

Nibbling playfully, his lips bit her earlobes and started sucking on them deeply. A pool of warmth rushed into her and she fell weak into his arms from all the teasing.

Lucifer hugged her closer in his embrace, melting her body against his own and supporting her limp body. Caressing her back soothingly and kissing the side of her head.

*ding* *ding*

It was the doorbell, snapping out Lucifer jumped like a button was hardwired to his brain and settled her onto the large bed.

He strode off to the door with hurried steps leaving a curious Sera. She sat motionless looking at the door. Looking down at herself she blushed profusely.

Her shirt was wrinkled and messy with the collar pulled down on one side. Reaching her palms she covered her face and sighed deeply, it felt good.

Lucifer entered into the room and found Sera covering her face, he smiled at her before pulling her back in his embrace and perched beside her on the bed.

"These are the clothes for you.. Change into them and come downstairs. I'll send you back home. I still have things to do..", he whispered, stroking her cheeks and brushing the stray hairs covering her forehead behind her ears.

"Okay..", she smiled at him, her eyes were teary and she looked vulnerable with a slightly pink face.

"Wash up first.. I'll wait for you outside", he pressed a chaste kiss on her forehead and walked out of the room.

Sera looked at the bag of clothes and smiled fondly, her eyes resembling crescents. She looked at the dress, it was exactly her size and even the design was according to her taste. She felt touched, she changed in a jiffy and walked out.

Outside the door Lucifer was waiting for her, his back was turned to the door and he seemed to be lost in thoughts.

"Lucifer.. I'm ready!", she said softly in her smooth melodious voice. He turned around and was at a loss of words.

Dressed in a light blue dress with a silky, flowy fabric that made her appearance gentler with long lace sleeves. Sera looked stunning. Thus dress was not suitable for daily wear, it was fit for a party outfit.

"I'm starving..", she grumbled, his eyes shone like stars as he broke out of his daze listening to her words.

Extending his hand he reached her small fists, holding hands the couple went downstairs. Sera was baffled to see Adrian coolly enjoying the bowl of noodles.

He smiled at her and continued eating as though it wasn't strange. Noticing her weird gaze Lucifer intervened.

"He is my brother.. We often eat together, even Ethan joins us sometimes!", he explained passing the bowl and chopsticks. She smiled at him sweetly and nodded her head lightly.

"Eat, finish everything in the bowl!", he started nagging her, Adrian smiled inwardly while Sera felt highly embarrassed.

Soon they finished eating and left. The trio then sat inside Adrian's car and he sped past the silent roads with few streetlights flickering on the streets.

Adrian and Lucifer dropped Sera at the Lu mansion before going back to the headquarters for their unfinished business.

"How is Miss Callista holding up?", he asked looking out of the window, his gaze deep and focused.

"She's still in shock.. The doctor had examined her earlier and her condition seemed to be stable now..", Adrian replied in a calm manner maneuvering the wheel expertly.

"What about Celine? And that time bomb?", his gaze darkened at the thought of bomb and Celine.

"She's under strict surveillance however the remains of the bomb seem foriegn, our people are diligently working on it.."

"What about that cellphone? Did you find it's remains?", he wanted to find the mastermind before things could go awry for them.

His race against time was now a race against himself, for Sera's sake he has to do something sooner.

"It is also under examination.. They are looking for any clues but the man seems clever. He is clearly wiping out any traces that leads to him just like how old wu was eliminated, then the assassination and now Celine.."

Adrian put forth his analogy as he pondered with a glimmer in his blue eyes. Lucifer's eyes hardened and he looked outside with a pensive gaze.
