Chapter 235 Snow Creature

Name:The Supreme Level Up System Author:
Labyrinths were indeed quite the dangerous and grotesque structures… Aion wondered why the people of that country still looked so calm… was it because it would take a while for the labyrinth to devour the whole country? Either way, they sure were fine in leaving a huge problem for the next generations…

In any case, Aion didn't have much of a hard time fighting the monsters after a few battles. The refinement level of the spear increased his speed quite quickly, so the monsters couldn't see him even move when he used Force Release… but eventually, Aion got too tired of doing that so often.

"Are we still far?" Seris asked.

"According to the maps, the first area can be crossed in one day," Sauros replied. "Stopping now to make weapons or items that will be only useful for a day isn't a good idea. Besides, we don't any help for now. So, don't worry."

To add some variety in the battles, the monsters stopped coming from the sides only and began to come from the front as well… probably because they could feel the smell of blood approaching and because there weren't many people around. Most of the people that worked daily on the labyrinths stayed in the initial areas…

"In that case, I will increase our speed a bit," Seris said and then touched their shoulders.

"You do understand that you aren't going to escape the cold by diving into the labyrinth, right?" Aion asked. "It will only get colder going forward."

"I just want to make the things that we need, and then that won't be a problem," Seris said.

Seris was still avoiding the main issue… that she didn't want to deal with the cold. That was a problem since the guardian of the core definitely would be an ice creature. Aion looked at Sauros, and it was his time to shrug… regardless, whatever the enemy might be, it can't be worse than an ice dragon… Aion truly wanted to believe that with all his heart.

The battles just got too easy around the time the refinement reached level ten, and the lancer class was at level eight, so Aion just sped things up even more. Thanks to it, they reached the end of the first area in just six hours. The only thing that split the area was a single downward tunnel that stretched for a few dozen meters.

"All right, we will go to the next area and then fight the enemies a few times before returning to give Seris time to make some adjustments to our gear," Sauros declared. "The maps of the second area are incomplete, so I can't say how long it will take us to reach the next one."

"It feels like this slow and methodical process of doing things really suits you," Aion said.

"You think so, hahaha," Sauros said and then laughed a little. "I like doing things like this and taking my time to achieve the best results without risks."

"He is just calling you boring, you know," Seris said.

"Well, I guess I am a boring person," Sauros said.

After that, the group headed toward the second area of the labyrinth. So far, they had only walked toward the North, and Aion wondered If that was going to change any time soon. He was fine with it as long as he didn't waste too much time, though.

The second area of the dungeon was a lot bigger than before. The corridors could easily fit dozens of people walking side by side, but that only made those three things that some problems were fast approaching.

As they began to walk, soon, their worries were confirmed when they heard the ground vibrating. After not so long, they saw the shadow of a tall creature approaching. The beast had its body completely taken over by thick white fur, a body that was like four meters tall… still, even with that size, such a monster wasn't supposed to make the ground vibrate when it was one hundred meters away.

The creature had blue eyes that changed to red when it saw Aion and the others. It seemed like a troublesome creature that focused on strength and endurance, so Aion stepped forward to deal with it.

"Leave it to me," Aion said. "This looks like fun."

The creature charged, and each step made the ground shake even more. Aion stepped forward as well to keep those two out of the way, and then when the monster got close enough, it turned its body to the side before launching an upward punch that almost emerged from ground level to hit Aion… despite its rage, the monster sure knew a thing or two about punching and use its weight on the attacks.

Aion moved to the side and dodged the easy-to-read punch. The creature must have around eighty points of strength and endurance, but its speed was only twenty. No wonder Aion could see the attacks so easily…

The monster turned to the side and then used the arm to punch him, but Aion just jumped to dodge the hook, and then he stabbed the monster's forehead with his spear since it was the area with the least amount of fur.

The attack made the monster's forehead bleed, but it didn't even pierce the bone. That didn't surprise Aion… his current strength was laughable… enraged, the creature swung both arms to smash him from the sides.

Aion jumped backward and dodged the punch, but before he could even land, he covered his spear in flames and threw it at the wound on the creature's forehead… This time, the attack pierced the bone, and the beast fell to the ground.

You obtained 200 experience points.

"It is convenient to level up new classes as soon as I get them, but it is rather troublesome that something like this can't die in one hit when I face a dragon…" Aion thought. "Even this power has some weaknesses."
