Chapter 356 Reasons Why

Name:The Supreme Level Up System Author:
The next few days had been rather busy, Aion received the papers about his new land once he got home, and then he helped his mother manage the land for a while. He made everyone get used to receiving orders from her.

Despite his worries, Aion saw that his mother looked pretty eager to work… It was quite something since he couldn't help but see the management of his land as a hassle. In the meantime, Seris and Arlana worked together on their experiments of trying to make vehicles to fly by themselves. The flying island that Aion envisioned was basically a large vehicle, after all.

In any case, while Aion was pretty good with earth magic, he fought someone that was even better when he went to rescue his mother years ago. So, he used that death knight to build the wall at night, and he only made minor adjustments during the day. Besides, he decided to seriously focus on learning Explosive Release, and he used that time of peace to do so.

"Finally, things are reaching a decent pace…" Aion thought.

Arc was able to convince a lot more people to help Aion, but it seemed that he only convinced those that aren't that strong. Once he does that, Aion will be able to level up his tier-one classes a lot faster, but the current progress wasn't half bad.

The necromancer class was at level seventy as well since Aion made his death knights go to several dungeons across the country. The only annoying part was that they had to fight at night in order not to be found.

"Now I just have to make some progress with this technique before I lose my mind out of sheer anger," Aion thought while furrowing his eyebrows since he still was unable to create health and stamina orbs.

It has been a while since something stressed Aion so much and for so long. If things continue like that, he will go bald in his twenties out of sheer worry.

In the end, Aion decided to take a break… maybe it was time to go to look for the other guardians. Three weeks had passed since Celion joined his camp, after all. When he approached the window of his room, Aion saw his mother, Seris, and Arlana having their afternoon tea. Maybe they will give birth to the England of that world if they continue like that.

"They are still working on their projects… maybe I should leave them behind this time in order to give them a chance to keep their rhythm," Aion thought.

While they didn't help all that much in combat, their knowledge helped Aion more than a little bit. Besides, Aion won't have to worry about his mother if they stay at home. He already confirmed that he could return to the exact same moment he crossed a mirror, after all. That was another good thing on his side.

When Aion was about to make his choice, he suddenly felt a shiver, and then the atmosphere changed. At the same time, he saw the sky suddenly getting dark blue… it was mid-summer, and there were no clouds in the sky, which was abnormal.

Aion opened his window and then jumped to the garden. Only to see that his mother, Seris, and Arlana weren't moving at all.

"What the hell… time magic stopped the flow of the entire world now?" Aion thought while looking around.

Aion touched them to see if anything would change, but nothing happened. He made them touch the relics, but once again, no results. In the end, he just used the relics together in order to see if they would point at the cause of that. It pointed toward the South, but several mirrors also appeared in his house.

"I really don't like this…" Aion thought.

At least none of the mirrors were glowing, so it didn't look like any enemy tried to attack his home… at least none of those that could use time magic.

"I should erect a similar barrier at home… but only Seris knows that rune," Aion thought and then sighed. "Fenhair, can you come here and guard my home?"

"Won't you require my assistance in this situation?" Fenhair asked, and Aion sighed in relief again since the guardians were still aware of the situation.

"No, this time I just want to confirm a few things… by the way, why isn't time magic working on you?" Aion asked.

"Because we are stronger than the ones trying to distort this timeline," Fenhair replied as if it was a matter of fact.

"Well, I should hurry up. I will be counting on you," Aion said. "Celion should just be on standby in case something else happens. No need to use all of our strength against the enemies all the time."

"... You should be wary that the souls inside of you aren't aware of this either, so you can't count on their help," Celion said. "Most likely, the enemy decided to do this, knowing what would happen to everyone. They seem a lot more knowledgeable than we had expected..."
