Theo sighed after he steadied his stumbling body thanks to the sinister voice that he had heard.
Asmodeus did not bother to look at him as he knew that the younger bird would be alright thanks to the training that he had been receiving all these days.
His attention was focused on the little girl as he tried to figure out what was the cause for getting the notification from the crystal jewel.
Searching through the memories that he had just watched, he finally found the source of the alert he received.
'So those boys are here as well.' He recalled the four boys whom he had seen walking into the mansion when they had just arrived through the portal.
Even when he had wiped out the memories of the illusion that the little girl had faced, there were still traces of it that somehow managed to remain.
Asmodeus could not understand how an entity that he had wiped out by draining its energy was still able to influence the child.
The sudden aches in her chest that she was experiencing was a trick played by the entity which he had recognized the last time he had confronted it.
However, it now appeared that he had not yet been able to eradicate the source of the pain that afflicted the little girl.
'I have already wiped her memories and destroyed the entity so there isn't much that I can do about the pain she experiences.' He frowned when he did not know what else he could do to help her.
What Asmodeus, God of flight and thunder did not realize was that there was someone else who was working from the shadows.
It was this same person who was the mastermind behind the emergence of the entity and also the attempt to expose a certain truth before the child.
Though Asmodeus had thwarted that plan by coming to the child's rescue at that time, he had failed to notice that the entity had already seemed to have influenced the girl before he could have arrived.
Ignorant about what had taken place in utmost secrecy, the god was glad that he had saved her and brought her soul away from the illusion and back to the body.
The reason why he had appeared at the right moment was also the same crystal jewel that had alerted him.
This time as well, the crystal had alerted him that there was something wrong with the girl.
Though the fluctuations weren't great, he felt the need to pay her a visit to ensure that everything was fine with her and the world he had created.
Now he knew that the fluctuations he had felt through the crystal were meant to alert him about the strange yet sharp pain the child was feeling in her chest.
He knew the reason for the pain but he had no clue how he could help her ease that pain.
Pondering over this matter, he tried to find a way to help her out but failed to do so.
'Didn't she think that…' He trailed off when his mind recalled another detail from her memories.
With this thought in mind, the god flapped his wings rapidly and flew in circles above her.
'I can do that!' He exclaimed when his brilliant mind had figured something out.
He then glanced at the chubby figure curled up underneath the blanket and sneered at her.
"You can thank me for this if you ever get to know about it!" He scoffed as he flew straight towards the window.
Theo was startled to see this abrupt change in the gloomy aura of his Master which had been affecting him as well.
But now that gloomy and bleak air around him had faded as he rushed out of the window while almost knocking the bird out of the way.
Theo jumped out of his Master's path and was quick to follow the blue bird, trying to comprehend what had happened in this short span of time.
He flew after the other bird and found that they were heading toward the backyard of the mansion.
Asmodeus did not have to put in much effort to reach the stable from which he could sense the presence of a kindred spirit.
He flew over and perched on the window of the stable only to find a horse resting inside.
"Awaken!" He commanded and the horse which was in a deep slumber opened his eyes in the next second.
When Theo reached the stable's window, he found his Master looking at a horse.
However, the horse did not appear to be an ordinary horse but it seemed to have a higher intelligence residing inside its body.
'That power is like…' He narrowed his eyes when he felt the faint trace of raw energy radiating from the horse's body.
"Master, is that…?" He inquired while glancing at Asmodeus who, much to his surprise, nodded his head.
There was a smug look on the God's face as he raised his head and looked ahead at the bigger-sized beast.
Demon, the horse who had been aroused from his slumber did not exhibit any impression of being exhausted or frail.
The Demon that Yvonne had witnessed as he slept even after her arrival was nowhere to be seen.
In its place was a sturdy and enthusiastic beast whose first reaction after seeing the bird sitting on the window was to bow down before it.
This act of reverence that Theo noticed only increased the awe in his eyes as he gazed at his Master.
"I was experimenting on whether I should turn the world into a full-fledged fantasy world instead of a simple historical world." Asmodeus divulged an important detail to his disciple.
When he had first written the book, he had thought of how the flow of the story would be.
He had multiple ideas and he even implemented those in his trial run of the story.
However, the final draft of the script did not contain these aspects written in them but had the simple romance which the CEO of Platina Entertainment had driven through the dirt without remorse.
"I had created these special beasts with the intention of adding some excess entertainment to the story but looks like they have another use as well." He surmised and fixed his gaze at the horse.
Theo understood what his Master meant by 'Special' in this situation as he could feel that the energy that resided in the horse was similar to the one inside his own body.
While Theo was not a God, he was an immortal just like the gods.
Though not as powerful, he still had immense power residing in his body which he needed to learn how to harness and utilize.
The horse before him had a very faint aura of an immortal which meant that the power present in his body was given to him by the gods, in this case, Asmodeus Del Ovin.
"I selected a few beasts and gave them special powers. This one right here is one of the purest beasts I have seen." The God remarked as he shot Demon a searching glance.
The beast, the etcher bowed in gratitude to the compliment that he had heard from his maker.
"I have a task for you." Asmodeus spoke to the horse who nodded in acceptance.
