Visible only to Chen Fann, the scale balanced, consequentially triggering the balance power in an instant. It was as if time froze when the equilibrium formation was successfully activated.

An absolute equilibrium was formed between the slashed tentacle vines and the Forest Troll.

In that state, the Forest Troll was immobilized.  Except for Chen Fann, no other living thing or object within the range of the scale could move or enter.

Any attempted access would be repelled by the balanced power. Likewise, everything inside the equilibrium force range will be restricted from exiting.

The balanced power would make the scale absolutely equal.

This was the balance, and it could not be broken!

The balanced power was an invisible power, but it actually existed. Except for Chen Fann, the spellcaster, not even the Forest Troll, who was trapped within it, had any idea what had happened.

At this moment, the Forest Troll was beginning to feel the terror of being dominated by the Balance Force.

“What’s going on? Why can’t my tentacles reach out? Why can’t I even move? ” Forest Troll was incomparably shocked. It had suddenly become like this, and it had no idea what had happened.

He felt like he was trapped by an invisible wall. All the structures on his body were constrained, unable to move a single bit.

The invisible force wasn’t that strong, it was even a little gentle. However, no matter how hard he tried, roared or used all of his strength, he still couldn’t break through it.

It was a power enclosing the laws of the universe and an inferior extraordinary creature like the Forest Troll was too far underqualified to break through it.

At the center of the Psychedelic Forest, the airborne tentacles and vines suddenly stopped moving.

Entrapped within the Balanced formation, The Forest Troll let out an angry and hateful roar.

Unfortunately, no matter how angry the Forest Troll got or how loud it shouted, as long as Chen Fann sustained the Balance formation, it would never be able to walk out of it.

“Oh! Goddess of the merciful tree above, what has happened?”

“I can’t believe our connection with Forest Troll is broken!”

“What happened to Forest Troll? Why does it look like it is trapped?”

After the ensnare, the old locust tree slowly walked over. Behind it were peach trees, osmanthus trees, campfires, oak trees, and banyan trees. It was like a group tree meeting with all kinds of treants gathered.

“Intelligent human lord, what have you done? Why can’t the Forest Troll move? Even the link that it used to control our treant race has disappeared. ” the old locust tree who had lived for a long time said with a tone full of surprise. He had no idea what was happening in front of him. He could neither see through it nor understand it.

Obviously, from the perspective of the treants, the Forest Troll was still standing there perfectly fine. Nothing could be seen around him, but it was trapped in the same spot, unable to move.

Unbelievable!

A brave treant curiously walked towards the Forest Troll, but before it could get close, it was bounced back by a mysterious force.

It was an invisible force, gentle like the spring wind but irresistible and untouchable. A single stroke would result in an immediate rebound.

“What kind of magical force is this?”

The treants were shocked, they were a race with ancient wisdom but they had never seen such a magical force before.

“You don’t have to worry about what kind of power this is. All you need to know is that not only can I trap Forest Troll, but I can also kill him.”  Chen Fann calmly replied.

“Forest Troll will die in my hands soon.”

“Human… human lord, you… you really can kill the Forest Troll?” the old locust tree’s voice couldn’t help but tremble. Although he didn’t know what kind of force had trapped the Forest Troll and made him unable to move, after living under its shadow for that long, it still retained fear from the bottom of their souls.

As such, even though the Forest Troll was trapped, as long as it wasn’t dead, the treants would never feel at ease.

“It’s easy for me to kill the Forest Troll.”  Chen Fann said faintly, “Do you see the dead trees within a few hundred meters?”

He scanned the nearby trees that had withered, previously vibrant trees that had turned into decaying ones as he spoke in the ancient whispers. It appeared so out of place in the lush forest.

Such conspicuous dead trees, the old locust tree and the treants must have noticed them.

In fact, they were curious about what kind of power Chen Fann had used to cause the trees that were full of vitality to decay and wither in an instant.

“I could have used the power to kill these trees to kill the Forest Troll. There was no need to seal him.” When all the treants noticed the rotten wood around them, Chen Fann continued, “But I didn’t do that. I chose to trap it first then kill it. Do you know why I did that?”

The treant who stood around Chen Fann looked at him in confusion.

“Because I don’t want you all to die.”  Chen Fann said, “You guys have also seen the destructive power of this decayed power. If I continue to use it, all the trees within a few kilometers or even ten kilometers will wither and die.”

“If I had used this power to kill the Forest Troll, the closest treants would have died indefinitely. Since you would  still be under his control, you won’t escape his predicament. “

“So, the reason why I wanted to trap the Forest Troll first was so that all of you could get free from his control. Only by doing so would there be enough time to let all of you escape. By then, you will neither be affected nor die.” Chen Fann told the treants of his good intentions.

Those who did good deeds and hid them were either saints with true selfless devotion or fools.

Obviously, Chen Fann was neither of them.

He would not hide the facts until the treants discovered it. If that was the case, they may find out one day, but they would never know of his good intentions.

As such, he opted to say it out directly. He wanted the treants to understand his intentions and be grateful to him.

Sure enough, his words had a miraculous effect.

All the treants were deeply moved and grateful to him.

“Respected human lord, from now on.”

“You are our king.”
