Things started in a pretty weird way in the group. First of all, Frederick took the lead and began to smash the mummies without giving them the chance to do anything… It was quite impressive how well he could control all types of Earth and make them follow his will without using his hands or anything. He just thought of covering the mummies with the sand desert and then crushed them easily. That continued for a while until they reached the pyramid.
"I am not sure we can get stronger at this rate…" Julian said.
"Rest assured that you will have plenty of chances to fight in the world Jake is right now," Frederick said. "Even I won't be able to take them down faster than they could attack us since they can fly and use electric attacks."
"That sounds like the thing that Jake would have the most difficulty dealing with," Lana said.
"I don't think so. His real problem in that world is the number of enemies," Frederick said. "They had time to spawn for over twenty days, after all. He can deal with the enemies almost instantly if he uses his dark flames and any other long-range attack or skill."
"I see… By the way, where are the telepathy user and Luke? It has been a while since we saw them," Lana said.
"They are helping the frontlines… Our strength is decreasing there, so I will count on you when the time comes there," Frederick replied.
The group entered the dungeon, and then Frederick kept killing the mummies while smashing them with Earth pillars from the ground. He could even control the ground of the dungeon… However, the place soon would repair itself and return to normal. Now and then, he would mana potions, but it seemed that he had the skills to fight an army of monsters by himself.
The mummy resisted for a bit longer, but after getting hit by some Earth pillars, the monster eventually died.

…
"Getting rewards without doing anything is quite…" Louise said while frowning.
"I am helping you all in order for you all to help me later," Frederick said. "Give and take. There is nothing more fair than that."
The others nodded, it was a bit weird, but it couldn't be helped, and it was also for the sake of helping their friend, so they had to accept that. In the end, even though it was night when they returned, they selected another mission.
Thanks to Frederick's help, the group managed to clear the first few quests pretty fast, but then they reached the world of the crystal wolves, and things got a bit more complicated. The monsters had a lot of magic resistance, so Frederick needed some help, and even with her set of skills, Louise could only do so much. In any case, they wasted a full day clearing that and the humanoid snakes' dungeon. When they finally could reach the world that Jake was supposed to be in, three days had started since they began to work together.
"Things will begin to get nasty now, so we will have to work in synchrony to avoid problems… unless Lana works fast, a single Thunder Spear will kill us," Frederick said.
"Please, don't put so much weight on my shoulders…" Lana said and then sighed.
"Can I repel them?" Julian asked.
"You probably can, but you will suffer some damage, and it isn't like lightning magic will be that useful against them," Frederick said.
After raising their guard, Frederick teleported them to that world, and as expected, the storm of that place still was tormenting the area. The group looked around for signs of Jake, but they didn't find any, so Frederick began to move.
Although the storm was annoying as usual, Frederick frowned because they didn't find any monsters even after a while. Jake must be pretty close to finishing his job, but he still should have lost and missed some of them…
"Woah… this place is insane…" Lana said.
"The storm is too strong, and the visibility is poor. It will be hard to find him," Karina said.
"Hmm? There is something over there…" Julian said while pointing to a small grove.
It seemed like an excellent place to take shelter. Even Jake wouldn't keep fighting nonstop. Still, they only found an empty grave and a pile of bones.
"It looks like Jake was here some time ago…" Louise said.
"I didn't think that he had this much appetite…" Lana said. "It almost looks like a monster ate those."
"It was definitely a monster that did this, or perhaps numerous of them," Frederick said. "Anyway, let's get going."
The group began to move again, finding many other piles of bones. Their numbers were pretty high… Jake had been busy, it seemed…
Eventually, the group reached the base of the mountain where the dungeon could be found, and they only found countless corpses of monsters. Some were flying around, but their numbers were too small.
"... It seems he worked faster than I predicted. That is quite shocking," Frederick said. "Even a small elite group wouldn't be able to do this much so fast."
"Maybe he still fighting the boss," Julian said.
"No, if the boss still were alive, more lightning bolts would be falling around…" Frederick said. "This might be bad… we will need to hurry, and you guys need to find Jake on his base before he selects his next mission."
Things began to change for Jake around two days after he started fighting the monsters in their area. Although he was looking for some risks, he wasn't nearly killing as many of them as he wanted. After two days, he had killed only twenty percent of the monsters around, and he had two more days to kill the remaining eighty percent.
"This won't do…" Jake said after he crossed his arms and looked at the numerous monster still flying around.
