Chapter 492 - Changes after Child Birth

When Liu Longwei walked into Chen Lihua's bedroom, she slowly opened her eyes with her gaze fixed on him.

He smiled as he closed the door before walking towards her.

Chen Lihua opened the duvet for him to come inside and lay down beside her. And of course, Liu Longwei was more than happy to honor her request.

"I thought you wouldn't come because you didn't understand my sign." Chen Lihua said as she snuggled into his arms.

"I'm sorry for keeping you waiting. At first, I didn't know it was a sign. But it didn't take long for me to realize that you needed some time with me." Liu Longwei said as he hugged her with one of his arms ???? as a pillow for her, while the other one rested on her waist.

"Sometimes, I think about our journey so far, and I smile because we have come so far. I appreciate you a lot for the deep and intentional understanding. We've never fought, and it's all because of you. Sometimes, I wonder if I'm actually the perfect wife for you." Chen Lihua said as she rested in his arms.

"My mum said we are humans, so we can never be perfect. But I believe we see the ones dear to our hearts as perfect because we accept their flaws and love them for who they are." Liu Longwei replied as he caressed her back.

"Thank you for always giving in to me." Chen Lihua said with her eyes closed as she moved closer to him.

"I love you." Liu Longwei whispered and kissed her forehead.

He stayed awake, and only left for his study when she was deep into sleep.

About an hour later, his mother brought his little son to him. 

A smile appeared on Liu Longwei's face as he looked up to see them. "Has he been crying for a long time?." He asked as he stood up and walked towards her to take the little child from her.

"It hasn't been quite long." Madam Liu said as she handed the child over to him.

"Ssshhhh... Wei, calm down Okay, I'm going to take you to your mother soon." Liu Longwei said as he tried to placate him.

"Your son doesn't understand what you're saying, he's hungry." Madam Liu teased.

"Mum, did you change his diaper?." Liu Longwei asked.

"Yes, I did, thinking that was the reason he's crying," Madam replied.

The little guy stopped crying as he stared at his father, but it was obvious that he was going to cry soon, so Liu Longwei said to him as he walked towards the door.

"I'm taking you to your mother, okay?." Liu Longwei said to him.

Liu Longwei took his son into Chen Lihua's bedroom. And Chen Lihua did wake immediately she heard her child's voice.

"He must be so hungry..." Chen Lihua said as she sat up a little more quickly.

Liu Longwei passed the child to her, and the little guy quieted down as he began to suck.

"Darling, could you help me pass the bottle and the b.r.e.a.s.t pump to mum, I need her help with getting it cleaned and sterilized. She knows how to do it." Chen Lihua said to him.

"Okay." Liu Longwei replied and left the room.

After b.r.e.a.s.tfeeding her child, Chen Lihua had another work to do, and that was to pump b.r.e.a.s.t milk for her child since she was leaving the house without him in the evening.

After lunch, the make-up artist and hairstylist Liu Longwei called arrived with the outfit.

After doing their work, they left immediately. And by the time they left, it was almost evening.

Chen Lihua was a little uncomfortable with the dress because her cleavage was on display. When Liu Longwei walked into her bedroom, he saw his wife with an unhappy expression on her face.

(The people Liu Longwei contracted were the same ones that have been getting Chen Lihua ready for any event. So when they came, they passed the dress to Chen Lihua who said she wasn't ready to get dressed, so they just did her makeup and styled her hair before leaving. The dress for the party was easy to put on, it had a back zip, so can be worn from the legs. With this, it wouldn't ruin her makeup or her newly styled hair).

(Also, they contacted workers, used a room downstairs to do Chen Lihua's makeup. After her makeup, Chen Lihua went up to her room to dress after some time).

Liu Longwei didn't even need to ask before finding out the reason for her change in mood.

"You can't wear the dress, is too open." Liu Longwei said to her.

"Yeah, and wearing a tube inside would ruin the style of the dress." Chen Lihua said, a little depressed. The dress had a V-neck.

"I'm sorry, I took the wrong measurement for your bust. I forgot that it increased in size, and should have asked you for the current measurement." Liu Longwei apologized.

"It's okay. I just hope that my burst will return to its original size when I stop b.r.e.a.s.tfeeding our baby. Right now, my biggest body part is my b.o.o.b.s." Chen Lihua complained.

She didn't like that fact. Since she became pregnant, her b.r.e.a.s.t added in size, and it seems like it increased again after she gave birth to her son.

"Don't complain about your body. You may not like it, but others do." Liu Longwei said to her as he gently pulled her up.

"Who are those that like it?." Chen Lihua asked as she allowed him to hold her up and directed her towards the door to her walk-in closet.

"Your son and your husband." Liu Longwei replied as he led her into her walk-in closet.

"Oh! What are we doing here?." Chen Lihua asked in confusion.

"Since there is no time to shop for another dress, let me pick something from your closet for you. I'm sure you still have some dresses I bought for you that you haven't worn before. So, let's pick one from there." Liu Longwei said as he searched through her clothes that were hanged.
