Chapter 122 Do You Have Time Tonight?

Villain Ch 122. Do You Have Time Tonight?

The virtual sun beat down on the group as they traipsed through the scorching hot sands of the Gorroc desert, their eyes constantly scanning the horizon for any sign of their target. Allen walked at the front with his hands covered with his demonic claws, ready for any attack that might come their way. The rest of the group followed close behind, each with their own weapon at the ready.

For half an hour they trekked through the merciless terrain, the sweltering heat making them all sweat and pant with exhaustion. But they refused to give up, driven by their desire for adventure and the thrill of the hunt. And finally, after what seemed like an eternity, they spotted their target - a majestic Gryphon perched atop a dune, its beady eyes watching them warily.

Without hesitation, Allen sprang into action. He raised his hand and used his Demonic Orbs. Gryphon let out a piercing cry as it felt the dark magic launching at it fiercely. The rest of the group moved in quickly, eager to attack it before Gryphon could recover. After a fifteen minute battle, they managed to defeat it and Allen managed to bind it with his skill.

But luck was not on their side. The Gryphon had no equipment to offer, much to their disappointment. Instead, they were left with a few pieces of loot that they could either sell or consume. Despite the lack of a valuable reward, the thrill of the hunt was enough to keep their spirits high.

They moved on to the next mini boss, the Ghost Master. This time, they found themselves in the eerie and unsettling depths of the ship dungeon near Berlt Harbor. The air was thick with the stench of seawater and rot, and the walls were adorned with rusted chains and broken bones. But they pressed on, determined to emerge victorious.

As they entered the boss room, the Ghost Master appeared before them, a spectral figure wreathed in ethereal flames. Jane stepped forward and unleashed her poison area skill, filling the room with noxious gas. The Ghost Master shrieked and writhed in agony, but the group was relentless in their attacks.

Finally, the Ghost Master fell to their combined might. They eagerly searched the room for any valuable loot, but alas, they were only able to find a few pieces of consumable items. The disappointment was palpable, but they refused to let them down.

Their next target was the Wolf King, who was said to be hiding deep within the forest in the Eyon fields. The group made their way through the dense foliage, their footsteps muffled by the soft carpet of leaves and branches. They were cautious, knowing that the Wolf King was a cunning adversary.

As they reached the heart of the forest, they spotted the Wolf King lurking in the shadows, his eyes gleaming with fierce intelligence. Alice moved in to bind him with her Shadow Bind skill, but the Wolf King was too quick for her. He let out a ferocious howl and charged at the group, his claws slashing through the air.

The fight was long and grueling, with both sides suffering heavy injuries. In the end, the group emerged victorious. But once again they only found a few pieces of consumable items.

The hunt for mini bosses had led them to reach level 58, a significant achievement. Allen knew that leveling up in this way took longer than killing players, but it was important to gather as many subordinates as possible for the upcoming event. They needed to be prepared for any challenge that came their way.

It was a long night hunt and the time was almost midnight, so they decided to end it with a discussion in the throne room. Allen and his team stepped into the dimly lit Cursed Crypts' throne room. Their faces were smudged with dirt and sweat from the hours-long hunt of mini-bosses. They had grown stronger and more skilled, but they knew that they still had much to do before they could face the impending event.

The atmosphere in the throne room of the Cursed Crypts was lively as they discussed their strategy for the next day. Allen sat on his throne, his gaze sweeping over the group standing before him. They all looked relaxed as if they were just hanging out instead of discussing a serious matter.

Vivian and Jane decided to use their Cooking skill to raise their skill with the ingredients they had obtained before. Shea, on the other hand, was busy admiring her new headgear in front of the mirror, while the others checked their status, skills, and storage hologram screen, preparing for tomorrow's battle.

Despite the seemingly casual atmosphere, the discussion was serious. They needed to plan their schedule for the next day, especially since they all had their own busy lives to attend to. Allen asked if they had any questions or requests for the next day's activities.

"I think that's enough for today. We've covered almost everything," Jane said.

"What about the equipment? When are you planning to hunt down the ingredients?" Alice asked.

Shea sighed. "There is no player who has that specification yet. It looks like we're stuck with this NPC armor thing for a while," she said in disappointment, still twirling in front of the mirror trying on her new headgear.

"Just like what Shea said," Bella chimed in. "Looks like we'll have to wait."

The discussion continued for a few more minutes before Allen concluded it. "Okay then, let's call it a night. We've done well today. We'll push our level tomorrow, try to reach level 60, and advance to the tier two class. Any questions?" he asked again.

They shook their heads from side to side.

eaglesnovɐ1,сoМ Due to that answer, Allen decided to close the discussion. But just as he was about to say it, a chat box appeared in front of him. It was from Zoe.
