Villain Ch 472. Revelation n/-o.-V/-e(/l/(B--I-.n
"Wait, are you serious?" Vivian asked, her eyes wide with astonishment. She needed confirmation to ensure she had heard correctly. "So you are the son of a billionaire now?"
Allen nodded, his grin never leaving his face. "Absolutely."
Bella was quick to offer her congratulations, her excitement clear. "Wow, Allen, that's incredible news! Congratulations!"
Jane practically bounced in her seat with excitement. "This is amazing! You're a gaming celebrity and a billionaire's son now. You're like the male lead from a billionaire story!" Her words were filled with genuine excitement as she envisioned the thrilling plot twists in Allen's life.
Alice couldn't help but cringe at Jane's antics. "Can you not relate everything to stories or novels?" she quipped.
Jane, still grinning innocently, turned to Alice. "No. That's my happiness," she replied with an innocent tone. Her gaze then shifted to Allen as she grabbed his hand, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "So, with your newfound identity, will you conquer the world next? Oh, wait, that's too much. How about conquering this game? You know, like taking over this virtual world and dominating it under your rule?" Her excitement was infectious.
"Um... I think he was doing it from the start, Jane. We're the villains, and he's the emperor. That's literally our job here," Bella chimed in, delivering the reminder with a cringe.
Allen chuckled at Jane's enthusiasm. "Well, maybe I should start by conquering the game before considering the real world," he said with a playful grin.
Vivian, who had been listening quietly, finally joined in the conversation. "But seriously, Allen, that's a big revelation. I'm happy for you," she said, offering a sincere smile. "Being Mr. Jordan's son is like being a character from one of those extravagant dramas."
Bella nodded in agreement. "Yeah, you should get used to the paparazzi and endless rumors now," she teased, nudging Allen playfully. "And don't forget us when you're a superstar!"
Realizing that Shea and Zoe didn't respond, Allen's eyebrows shot up in surprise. His eyes darted between the two of them, and he couldn't help but feel a bit confused.
"You guys don't look surprised," Allen pointed out, a hint of curiosity in his voice. "Do you guys know anything about it?" he asked, hoping for some clarity. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this story than he was aware of.
Zoe shifted uncomfortably, her gaze fixed on his character. She pressed her lips together and finally sighed, unable to meet Allen's eyes. "Well," she began slowly, "we kind of... stumbled upon some information before Jordan found out about it."
Shea, on the other hand, decided to take a deep breath and speak up. "Yeah, Allen, we knew about it for a while," she admitted, her tone apologetic. "We wanted to tell you, but we weren't sure when would be the right time."
Allen blinked in surprise, trying to process the revelation. "Since when?" Allen's voice held a curious, almost investigative tone as he leaned in slightly, his virtual eyes focused intently on Shea and Zoe. His seriousness was palpable, and it was evident he wanted to get to the bottom of this revelation.
Shea exchanged a glance with Zoe before answering, "Since the dinner," she admitted, her voice carrying the weight of honesty. "It was the day we did it for the first time," she clarified, referring to the day when they spent the intimate moment with Allen.
"Is that the main reason why you invited me?" Allen's curiosity deepened, and he fixed his gaze on Shea and Zoe. His voice carried a hint of seriousness.
Shea nodded, confirming his suspicion. "Yeah," she clarified.
Allen pondered this for a moment, piecing together the timeline in his mind. It had been a significant moment for him, and the fact that they had known his family background even before he did left him feeling a bit overwhelmed.
"So, you've known all this time," he said, his tone a mixture of amazement and a touch of amusement.
Zoe sighed, a bit relieved that the secret was finally out in the open. "Yes, Allen. We wanted to tell you, but we didn't want to overwhelm you with the news," she explained, her eyes filled with sincerity.
His mind raced as he recalled the events leading up to this moment. He remembered that Shea had hosted some guests before he arrived for that fateful dinner. A new suspicion crossed his mind, and he couldn't help but voice it.
"Wait a minute," Allen began, his voice tinged with a mix of surprise and realization. "Did you invite those guests over to... investigate them?" His eyebrows furrowed as he sought confirmation. "Did you do a DNA test with our saliva?" Allen guessed again, a mix of curiosity and surprise in his voice. It seemed like the only logical way they could have confirmed his identity, and it made sense considering they had shared a meal together.
Shea nodded, her expression sincere. "Yes, we did," she confirmed.
Allen's eyebrows furrowed slightly, and he couldn't help but ask the question that had been on his mind since learning about their actions. "Why didn't you tell me?" He wasn't angry, but there was a hint of discomfort in his voice. He felt uneasy knowing that they had conducted a secret investigation behind his back, even though he understood their intentions were well-meaning.
Shea sighed, her gaze shifting away for a moment before returning to meet Allen's eyes. "I wanted to tell you, Allen, but I couldn't find the right time," she admitted honestly. "I thought it would be best to wait until you and Jordan had a close relationship, and then I could bring it up." Shea's voice held a tinge of regret. "But I have to admit, I underestimated Jordan. He moved faster than I expected."
Allen exhaled a long breath, his initial concerns gradually dissipating. He had to admit that Shea had an irrefutable point, and she was absolutely right in her intentions. So, he decided to let it slide, understanding the gravity of the situation. Moreover, he realized that Jordan finding out he had a long-lost child was a sensitive matter, one that required careful handling. If he were in Shea's position, he might have done the same thing.
"Hmm... You have a point there," Allen admitted, giving Shea a nod of understanding.
Shea smiled, relieved that Allen wasn't upset with her and Zoe for their actions. It was clear that their relationship remained intact, and he was grateful for that.
"Anyway... should we celebrate it?" asked Jane.
Bella's eyes lit up with excitement, her thoughts quickly shifting to the prospect of a celebration. "Oh yeah, celebration!" she exclaimed, unable to contain her enthusiasm.
Alice joined in, equally excited. "A celebration sounds fantastic!"
"Um... you know, instead of celebrating, haven't you forgotten something?" Vivian interjected with a cringe, wanting to address an important matter.
Zoe, understanding Vivian's concern, exchanged a knowing glance with her. "You mean Emma or Allen's family?" she guessed, trying to clarify the focus of Vivian's concern.
"Emma," Vivian replied, her tone indicating that she was concerned about Emma's feelings in light of the recent revelation about Allen's status.
"What's wrong with her?" Bella asked innocently, not quite grasping Vivian's concern.
Jane, on the other hand, seemed to be reveling in the prospect of drama. "Oh! That's it! Of course! This is a situation suitable for sibling rivalry!" she exclaimed excitedly, as if she couldn't wait to witness the potential drama unfold.
Alice gave Jane a quizzical look, clearly not sharing her enthusiasm for drama. "Aren't you a little excited for this?" she asked, raising an eyebrow in Jane's direction.
Jane responded to Alice's question with an innocent grin, fully embracing the idea of sibling rivalry playing out.
Allen chuckled, trying to ease their concerns. "Don't worry about that," he reassured them. "I've actually talked to Emma already, not much, but she seems to be able to accept me," he said with a hint of surprise in his voice.
"Really?" Zoe said in disbelief, raising an eyebrow. "I always thought she'd fight it with all her might," she remarked, genuinely surprised by the news.
"I also thought the same thing initially," Allen admitted, recalling their breakfast encounter. "But from her reaction, it doesn't seem like it," he added with a grin, still somewhat bemused by Emma's sudden change in attitude and the fact that she might actually be warming up to him.
"How can you be sure of that?" Shea asked curiously, leaning forward. Her eyes were fixed on Allen, eager to hear more.
Allen smiled faintly and cleared his throat, feeling a little self-conscious about sharing this intimate detail. He chose his words carefully. "Well, she was blushing when we had breakfast together this morning," he confessed, trying to downplay the significance of the moment.
That revelation landed like a bombshell, causing the girls' jaws to drop in shock.
Bella was the first to recover, recovering her composure with a smirk. "Well, well, well, it seems Emma has a soft spot for you, Allen," she teased, winking playfully.
Jane gasped dramatically. "Oh, my stars! This is better than any romance novel plot twist!" she exclaimed, feigning surprise.
