Chapter 106 - I don't want to see him dead

CEO Fei Zing was baffled, "Miss. Mei, but why MNC's would shift to our software? They are already satisfied with Infinity Software!!"

Xiu Mei gave a mysterious smile, "Leave that to me!! Just make sure we have enough supply to meet the sudden flow of demand!!" she picked the teacup from the table and sipped from it.

"But…" Before Fei Zing could say anything more, Xion stopped him by raising his palm, "Let's follow her strategy! I've full confidence in her!!" He simultaneously gestured Fei Zing with his eyes to leave the two of them alone for some time.

Fei Zing got up immediately, "All right! Let me go and set up a meeting with the heads of the department to make the necessary changes"

"Please do that ASAP! We don't have much time before the launch of the product" said Xiu Mei, totally unperturbed.

There was an awkward silence in the room after Fei Zing left. Xion was watching her intricately trying to discern her thoughts.

"Don't stare! That's creepy"

"I know! But I'm trying to understand something about you" Xion said without removing his gaze for even a single second.

"Whatever" Xiu Mei put the teacup on the table as she gets up to leave for her lab. "Don't you think I deserve an explanation?" Xion's voice echoed.

"What explanation? It's just a new product launch and I'm actively participating in the decision process." She cocked her head to look at Xion who was sitting at the presidents' chair.

Xion nodded his head, "Fair enough! Tell me why are you actively participating in this particular product launch? You never showed any interest before"

"Because it's one of my best creation!" she said as a matter of fact.

Xion laughed at her response, "Hahaha…. Who're you joking with Xiu Mei? We both know these childish products are nothing for you! You can make something like this daily…" He got up from his chair to walk towards her, "Tell me the real reason behind this product"

Hovering over her head he asked, "Let me rephrase my question… Why are you fighting against Infinity Software?"

"Or should I ask what personal grudge are you holding against Feng Corporation? Did they offend you in the past?"

Panic filled Xiu Mei's stomach as it clenched, 'I knew it! X will definitely doubt me on my behavior towards Infinity Software… X please don't interfere in this, it's my revenge. Although I want Feng Jianyu to suffer at my hands but I don't want to see him dead…'

Hearing this Xiu Mei's eyes widened in shock, she was almost bolted up from her chair but controlled her frantic heart with great effort. Thankfully Xion was standing behind her because of which he doesn't notice the change in her expressions.

Feeling her throat parched she gulped a mouthful of saliva while trying to act indifferent, "what rubbish are you saying! Why would I hold a grudge against the most powerful company in the world?"

"Really! Don't tell me you're so naïve that you don't know Infinity Software is Feng Corporation's best-selling product! It constitutes 20% of their total revenue… and the way you're plotting everything against Infinity software, probably Feng Corporation is your only target! If you don't call it grudge than what it is?"

"Mei… Did Feng Corporation or anyone from the Feng family wronged you before?" Xion asked outright, evaluating her manner and appearance.

'Boom!' This was a bomb dropped on her head; she clutched the chain around her neck tightly as if it is her last support. 'Arghh…. Xion you are too much! I've to do something before you dwell into this matter more' she thought.
