71 I’m Late
“You’re funny, Lin Su. Where did you see me pushing her?”
“It’s okay, Lin Su. This has nothing to do with Luo Ying. Don’t blame her. It’s my fault for not being familiar with my positioning.” Su Ran looked at Lin Su with her big, pitiful eyes.
Lin Su’s expression darkened all the more.
“You grabbed at my accessories just now. When I spun at the end of the first chorus, what were you trying to pull? Do you want the director to replay it?” Luo Ying tilted her head and said with a smile.
There were many cameras positioned at multiple angles, and one of them was an overhead camera providing a bird’s eye view. From that position, Su Ran’s little tricks would be exposed.
“I’m warning you, I know everything you’ve done. Don’t push your luck.” Lin Su sized Luo Ying up with cold eyes.
He seemed to be certain that Luo Ying was the culprit.
Luo Ying sneered. “Why don’t you tell me what I did wrong?”
Lin Su looked at the audience behind him and lowered his voice. “Don’t think I don’t know that you got the director of ‘Full Moon’ to prey on Su Ran.”
Luo Ying sneered. “Do you really think you’re that important? Do you think I have to destroy a girl’s innocence for an old-fashioned scumbag like you?”
“What did you just say?” Lin Su’s eyes widened.
The director grew worried and immediately asked the staff to guide them backstage.
When he got backstage, Lin Su dropped all pretenses. He reached out and poured a glass of water on Luo Ying’s face.
Although Luo Ying’s makeup today was waterproof, the water just now had gotten the sequins stuck on her eyes into them. Her eyes stung.
“Lin Su, aren’t you old-fashioned? It’s the 21st century. Do you think that a girl’s innocence is your own property? Are you so angry because of Su Ran’s welfare?” Luo Ying shut her eyes and drawled at him, sounding more tired than annoyed. “Or are you angry because Su Ran’s virginity should have been yours to take?”
Lin Su was speechless.
Lin Su should be pursuing the direct culprit of this incident, the director of “Full Moon.” Instead, he was here, hounding Luo Ying.
“Cut the crap. If it wasn’t for your sister Luo Wan’s timely tip-off and a certain manager who didn’t want to harm anyone for you, Su Ran would have been raped a long time ago.”
Xia Lan? Luo Ying felt a headache setting in.
Apparently, everyone had a motive but her.
“Look, I don’t have that much time on my hands, much less pull off such stunts around you,” Luo Ying said.
“You’re just trying to get my attention. What reason does Luo Wan have to lie to me?” Lin Su frowned and looked at Luo Ying.
Su Ran was in tears. “Don’t say anything more, Lin Su. I’m begging you.”
Lin Su hugged Su Ran affectionately.
Luo Ying felt nauseated. This pair of lovebirds would not leave her alone, as much as she wanted to get away from them.
Before she could react, a slap landed on her face.
Luo Ying was stunned by the slap. Her stinging eyes were on fire now.
Her ears were also ringing. If this slap had been slightly off, she could have gotten deaf.
Luo Ying glanced at the surveillance camera on the wall and sneered, “Lin Su, don’t go too far. There are surveillance cameras here.”
Lin Su looked at the surveillance camera and frowned. “You know just how much power I have in the broadcasting station. You must apologize to Ranran today, or I’ll teach you a lesson today.”
When Luo Ying heard this, she could not hide the scorn on her face.
This world was most definitely playing tricks on her.
“What authority do you have in the television station? The authority to hit people?” A low male voice sounded behind them.
Just as the two of them were in a deadlock, someone pulled Luo Ying into his arms from behind. It was Lu Zhao.
Lu Zhao looked at Luo Ying’s swollen face and reached out to caress it a few times.
“Wait for me in the car. I’m going to have a word with Lin Su.” Lu Zhao looked at Luo Ying, his anger barely suppressed in his voice.
Luo Ying shook her head. “I’m afraid you’ll do something stupid.”
Lu Zhao laughed. Even now, she was worried about him. “I know what I’m doing.”
Luo Ying nodded and walked out of the door.
“Come with me.” Lu Zhao’s eyes turned to Lin Su.
Lin Su didn’t know why, but he was shivering. He had not had many business dealings with Lu Zhao before, but when he heard the command from the ruthless and decisive President of Luya Group, he felt fear from the bottom of his heart.
