Chapter 78 - Sacrifice

"Are you sure that this is enough for you to divorce Lisa?" Tuli frowned as she asked Ruhan.

Ever since she handed him the informations, he began to go through them attentively and completely ignored her. She didn't like this. Couldn't he wait till he was alone?

Ruhan froze at her sudden question. He didn't know how to answer.

Would this be enough to divorce Lisa? Of course not!!! He didn't intend to divorce her anyway. He just wanted to leave his position...to leave Ahmed Corporations. That was why he didn't plan to cause big trouble for her. Just some minor crisis that would be enough for everyone to doubt her capability.

But...he couldn't tell Tuli that. He was well aware of her ambitions. She wouldn't have helped him selflessly if she didn't gain anything in return. If she knew that her dream of becoming his wife would never succeed, she might end up betraying him too.

"He he" Ruhan gave an awkward smile. "It wouldn't be that easy to divorce her yet. Afterall, it is related to our family's reputation. So we have to take one step at a time. Be patient dear."

"Be patient?" Tuli became angry again. "My family is already pressuring me for marriage. I could delay it until now with the excuse of being busy. But now that I am resigning, with what excuse I am going to delay my marriage? I can be patient Ruhan but my parents won't."

Tuli really was't lying. Her parents had already given her ultimatum that they would marry her off with their own choice if she didn't choose her partner soon. She really couldn't delay anymore.

"Of course I understand." Ruhan suppressed the displeasure in his heart and squeezed out an insincere smile. "I am not telling you to wait for years. Just ve patient for few months. After Lisa is kicked out of office, I would find a way to prove that she was acting as a spy on behalf of other company. Such allegations are enough for me to divorce her. Father would never allow anyone to endanger the company. "

After listening to Ruhan's explanations, Tuli's expression turned better. She smiled sweetly and said, "Don't make me wait for too long."

Ruhan sighed of exhaustion. It was really difficult to pretend to be a nice person for such a long time. Tuli was really difficult to deal with. She was really a paranoid person.

After they parted ways, Ruhan immediately called Jahid.

"What's wrong?" Jahid asked in a sleepy voice. He was working the whole night. He just returned home at 10am.

"Why are you sleeping till noon?" Ruhan frowned. "Wake up now. I got the informations you asked for. Now you have to do your job. Stop being lazy."

Jahid's brain became clear. He too, was interested in causing trouble for Lisa.

"Bring them to me." he said excitedly.

"Aren't you being too enthusiastic? " Ruhan teased, "She didn't harm you in anyway. So why are you so eager to deal with her?"

Of course Jahid would not waste too much time on a woman for no reason. He had his own reasons to do so.

Jahid was a very capable person. Most of the powerful men made use of him to do illegal things. So naturally he was in good connection with most of them. His men had successfully infiltrated most of the companies. He knew so many secrets about them that he could bring anyone down whenever he wanted. This was his way of protecting himself so that no one could burn the bridge down after crossing it.

But when it came to Ahmed Corporations, he was as blind as a bat. He couldn't infiltrate the company. The men he sent either got caught or were rotting in the branch offices. The employees were really tight lipped.

But if Ruhan could join the office, it would be different. With his power, he could infiltrate the main office easily.

So no matter what, he had to make sure that Ruhan could secure his position well.

Although he didn't have any enmity with Lisa, he had to act against her.

Some sacrifices had to be made in order to progress in life. Ruhan himself was sacrificing his wife. So why would he feel guilty to sacrifice an unrelated person?

But naturally Jahid wouldn't reveal his thoughts.

"I am doing this for you. Are you doubting me?" he spoke as if he was really wronged.

"Alright alright. " Ruhan waved his hand an didn't think too much about it.

"Prepare for the next plan."
