“So…?”

“In conclusion, I would like to say that I am not in favor of Hanamura-sensei as a possible fiancé candidate.”

“Excuse me, before we talk about that, can I ask you something?”

“Hmm? What is it?”

“I think we’re abusing the guidance counselor’s office too much. Is this a place we can use so freely?”

A week has already passed since the supposed fake confession.

During that time, I heard that Sakuramiya-sensei went out for dinner with Hanamura-sensei, and she used the student guidance office to tell me the daily results.

This room is for teaching those students who break the school’s rules and regulations. Is it really ok to freely use this room for personal purposes?

“I think it’s okay. There are rare cases of any students causing problems these past few weeks. Now, about the matter with Hanamura-sensei.”

“Oh, yes.”

“Maybe it’s just my personality, but I’m so preoccupied during the meals that I don’t enjoy the conversation with him.”

“Are you sure?”

Suddenly, it gets caught in my brain sensors.

Just what is she trying to say….

How can a caring person ask for such troublesome things like a pretend fiancé? Besides, haven’t you asked me to do something rather impudent?

“Uh…. Well, I think that’s not very convincing because I’m just causing trouble for Segawa-kun. But it’s surprisingly so, isn’t it?”

“Really?”

“You don’t believe me at all!”

“Regardless if it’s true or not, I think it will be resolved with time.”

It’s the same with my friends.

When you first become friends, you read each other’s thoughts and feelings, and things may be awkward at first, but over time, the sense of distance between us becomes more comfortable.

It is rare to have a relationship where you don’t care about each other from the beginning.

“That’s right but… When we went out to eat together, Hanamura-sensei suddenly tried to get very close to me. Even today he invited me… Maybe it’s just my imagination, but it feels like he already thinks of himself as my boyfriend.

“…I am sorry.”

“No, Segawa-kun, you don’t have to apologize.”

“But I’m the one who recommended him.”

Why did he try to be aggressive after just a few outings, well I think he got excited and got carried away due to it.

If that’s the case, Hanamura-sensei might not be a good fit. Because Sakuramiya-sensei don’t like that kind of people.

“I’m sorry, but I don’t think I’m going to date Hanamura-sensei, even though Segawa-kun gave me the chance to do so.”

I’m sorry, Hanamura-sensei. You were dumped without even knowing about it.

Anyways, I feel like the end result wouldn’t have been any different regardless of me acting as a meddler. I’ll apologize to him verbally the next time we meet.

“Well, it can’t be helped. I have no complaints if the result is based on proper consideration.”

“I see. I’m sorry…. There is one more thing I have to tell you, Segawa-kun.”

“Yes, what is it?”

“Do you remember what I said the other day…?”

“About the date?”

“Yes. I was wondering if it is okay to go on Saturday or Sunday.”

“This week? Can we put it off a little longer?”

I wanted her to procrastinate as long as possible, maybe for a month if it’s possible.

Sakuramiya-sensei continued with a bitter smile on her face while looking down.

“I’m sorry, that might be a little difficult, but Segawa-kun we have to act so lovey-dovey and flirt as much as we can on our date. Prolonging it any further would mean that the setting we made so far would collapse.”

“Wait, what’s with that setup?”

“Please, Segawa-kun. Please go on a date with me on your day off, while flirting with me with all your might and showing off your acting skills enough to fool my mother without any regrets!”

“Why are you getting me more and more discouraged? I absolutely hate it.”

“How much…?”

“What?”

“How much do I have to pay you to do it?”

“Don’t try to buy your students with money!”

She was talking to me like I was her friend.

At this rate, I will have to use my last resort.

If she pays and I agree, then there will be no turning back.

“B-But then….. What should I do?”

Sakuramiya-sensei, with tears in his eyes, lamented that there was nothing more she could do. I’ve already said last time that I will cooperate with her antics, but if I withdraw myself from this mess, then I wonder what would happen to her.

“Ok, I will help you. So please stop crying Sensei.”

“Ah… Thank you, Segawa-kun.”

“Just promise me one thing.”

“Hmm, What?”

“If we’re going to do this, then let’s do it seriously. You can’t withdraw in between because of embarrassment. Throw away all the sense of shame and act as a bacacouple. Is that alright with you?”

“Yes, of course!”

Sakuramiya-sensei swallows hard and clenches her fists in determination.

If we escape halfway, then all of our efforts till date will be lost.

I would rather flirt with Sakuramiya-sensei with all my might than face such an outcome. That is what I was determined to do.
