September 20, Sunday.

I often see people flirting in public places without any regard for other people’s eyes, and I always wonder what kind of nerve they have.

Have they no sense of shame? Do they not consider the possibility of accidentally running into their parents or acquaintances? Could it be that they enjoy inciting negative feelings in others? If so, shouldn’t we tax the couples? That would enrich this country, etc., etc., 

I take back everything I said before.

Because right now, I am doing the same thing in public as the people who I envied and loathed from the bottom of my heart.

“Yes, aah!”

A restaurant in the late afternoon.

With the pleasant background music playing in the restaurant, I am being fed a hamburger steak by Sakuramiya-sensei without any relaxation.

Let me tell you, my hand is not injured. That doesn’t mean that Sakuramiya-sensei and I have really started dating.

This is all in order to keep the setup that I am Sensei’s fiancé.

I was flirting with Sakuramiya-sensei as much as I could while pretending not to notice the blatant stares from afar.

“Haah… haah…. What is it?”

“Please don’t let me down, Onee-chan!”

Recently, my cousin ── ‘Mi-kun’, aka Minato Segawa, has been acting very strangely.

Until now he rarely used to leave the house for any purpose, but suddenly the number of times he would not be at home for long has increased drastically.

I wonder if he got a girlfriend…

So, I was following him today in order to find the cause of the change in Mi-kun.

And as a result of the investigation, I found someone who seemed to be his girlfriend.

They had lunch at a restaurant, fed each other, and took lots of pictures but with a reasonable distance between them.

Afterwards, they went to a clothing store together, flirting and chatting. And now they are on their way to some other place.

How envious of you to be able to flirt with Mi-kun in a public place–well, I’m jealous? Wait, no I’m not jealous or maybe I am? Ughh! I am really jealous of her.

Involuntarily I was about to shed tears of blood.

I was trying to hold it in, but my sister Shiina, also known as Shi-chan, who came with me, looked at me worriedly.

“I’m not sure if they are still in a relationship, so please don’t lose hope.”

“No matter how you look at them, they are definitely lovers.”

“Hey, if you shout too loud Minato-nii will hear us.”

“Ugh, I understand.”

While hiding in the shadows, I looked at Mi-kun and her with a resentful look.

If things were going to be like this I should have confessed to him sooner.

But confessing to my own cousin feels more difficult than I had imagined. Even if the law allows it, I don’t know if any of my relatives will. It’s not an excuse, is it?

“I don’t know if it is only me, but… She looks a little older than him. Does Mi-kun like older women?”

“I’m sorry to hear about that.”

“Kuu, holding hands and sticking close to each other…. I wonder why it hurts to see them like this.”

Shi-chan’s pity filled eyes seemingly pierced through my heart. I’m too miserable.

I was also getting mentally exhausted.

Suddenly, I heard footsteps approaching in our direction. It was not Mi-kun and her.

It was a suspicious person.

She was dressed in an expensive kimono, which you would rarely see in everyday life, and she was wearing a mask, hat, and sunglasses to hide her face. She was indeed very suspicious.

I quickly pulled Shi-chan close to me in a hug and stepped a few steps away from her.

“Umm, can I ask you a question? Pardon my rudeness.”

“I’m wondering if you’re following those two, too? Do you mind if I join in?”

I never thought I would be asked such a bizarre question one day in my life.

My eyelids fluttered, and it took me a while to grasp the situation.

I was at a loss for words when Shi-chan opened her mouth first.

“She is probably the mother of the woman with Minato-nii.”

I see. That makes sense now that you put it that way.

If the purpose was to follow those two, then she would have to be related to at least one of them.

“Is it okay to interpret you as Minato-kun’s sisters?”

“No, we both are his cousins.”

“Oh, I see. I am the mother of Yumi Sakuramiya, the girl next to Minato. Please call me Kiyoka.”

“Well… Kiyoka-san, why are you dressed like this?”

“We’re following them, so wouldn’t it be a problem if they find us out?”

No, this will only increase the chances of them finding us out.

“Please take off your sunglasses and mask because you are gathering unwanted attractions.

She was very understanding and listened to me clearly. I was stunned when I saw her without the mask and sunglasses.

She’s extremely beautiful…

She was so young and youthful that I didn’t feel her age. Her skin and appearance were so beautiful that I was wondering if she was an actress.

This woman is her mother… could it be that the woman next to Mi-kun is also very beautiful?

“Ah, they have gone to the Arcade center.”

As I was stunned, Shi-chan pointed her finger at me and reported.

It seems that they have gone to the arcade.

And so we rushed to the Arcade center to follow Mi-kun and her.
