Chapter 182 - Real Identity

Watching San Xia acting so exaggeratedly, Yu Yan chuckle. She could even see An Luo's helpless yet doting expression. He might not completely agree with his wife, but he still allowed her to act as she wished and sing the same tune.

"Come to think about it, did she ever think of entering entertainment industry?" Yu Yan remarked once more. She really felt that it was a pity that someone like San Xia rarely acted.

"She didn't want to enter entertainment industry because she thinks that it's too troublesome." Long Ying handed a glass of strawberry milk to Yu Yan. He had purposely added a few ice cubes because he knew that she loved cold drinks.

"Can she even enter entertainment industry?" Yu Yan was doubtful.

Weren't they all part of Dragon Clan? Since they were part of underworld organization, would it be fine for them to roam outside like this?

"She also have normal identity outside. If you try to search for her personal name, you'll know that she's working as a secretary of one of my company." 

Yu Yan: "…" She didn't look like she was working as a secretary.

In fact, San Xia looked more like a rogue rather than secretary. Imagining the wild San Xia worked as a secretary, giving instruction to the Boss about his schedule and also arranging the timetable… Yu Yan certainly couldn't imagine it.

"That's just for a front and identity check. It's not possible for someone to just spout openly that they're part of a clan." Long Ying poked Yu Yan's forehead, feeling that his little wife was thinking about some weird things once more.

Yu Yan pursed her lips and shake the milk in the glass for a bit before she started to sip. Sensing the cooling and sweet taste of the milk, a smile formed at the corner of her lips. She felt really satisfied with this treat.

"An Luo?"

"He's the manager."

"An Lin?"

"Same."

"How about Lan Huo?"

"He's the security guard."

Yu Yan: "…" Why did she suddenly feel that Lan Huo was actually quite poor to be assigned as the guard. But upon recalling how Lan Huo usually behaved most of the time, she felt that it was indeed more suitable. If Lan Huo was placed in a position that required him to use more of his brain, she honestly doubted that he would be able to survive safely.

Long Ying chuckled when he saw his wife's expression. "All of the member in the Dragon Clan are working in my company. They're simply split to several companies as it can hide their real work behind the scene."

"I'm not working under you." Yu Yan was amused. She had her own position and working in Lei Xing Yi's company also gave her quite a lot of freedom.

"Hmm, yeah, my wife is the one who can work anywhere."

"Stop your glib tongue." Yu Yan finished the strawberry milk and put the glass away. She moved slightly and then adjusted her position before lying on Long Ying's lap.

Long Ying arched his eyebrows when he saw her lying on his lap so defenselessly. Did this little lass didn't know this position was making her open for attack?

"It's already quite late. Time to take a bath, little lass."

Yu Yan scrunched her face and looked at Long Ying with unwillingness. "It's still early, I want to play more."

"Are you a kid?"

"Don't you always treat me as one?"

"Oh, shall I check whether you're a kid or not?"

"Stop it, ah…"

After some time later, Yu Yan could only stare begrudgingly at the annoying man who carried her to their bedroom. The living room was a mess and it would certainly need some time before it could be restored to its previous condition.

Entering the bathroom, Yu Yan slapped Long Ying's hand. "I can take a bath by myself."

"I want to take a bath with you."

"No."

"Why not?" Long Ying asked shamelessly. He leaned closer as his breath turned rough once more and he called out, "Yan'er."

Yu Yan's gaze darkened slightly as she understood that she could not escape from a certain beast's attack anymore. Damn it, why did he have so much stamina?

Time passed swiftly.

For Yu Yan, she was simply waiting for the news regarding her father's company and also the others. The Kang Family was staying extremely low profile lately. Except for the fact that her cousin, Kang San Hao would be getting engaged in a few months, there was nothing else that Yu Yan heard.

The news made her taken aback, though. After all, that cold faced cousin of hers never introduced anyone.

He told them that he would bring his woman next year and ended up getting scolded by his mother. Well, serve him right to postpone for so long until his parents were worried about him. 

Aside from that, she knew from Lei Xing Yi that the condition of AB mine was taking turn to the worst. Even though they were trying to mine more, the result showed that there were not much diamonds left. It was almost completely dried out and it took them everything to gather the leftovers to fill what they required. 

It has truly become an empty shell.

And three companies were on the verge of breakdown because no other diamond supplier were willing to offer their olive branch and work with them. No matter how much they gave their offer, these owners kept their mouth shut and looked the other way without even paying them a glance.

Bao Tu even had to come to his family meetings but what he saw was his uncle's cold gaze.

"Uncle…" Bao Tu looked at his uncle. Even though he was unwilling, he had nothing that was left anymore. He tried to sell AB mine profit share but some people had leaked out that the mine was nothing more than an empty shell. The shares he held in his hand turned worthless.

And to think he spent so much time to get them in the past… how ironic. 

In Bao Family Residence, Bao Wang was looking at his nephew without any emotion.. "It's your decision, I can't help you."
