Chapter 112:What's His Motive?

Finally after some walking, she had found the comfort room and she quickly ran inside to comfort herself. She washed her hands and then she started combing her hair since she realized that she looked haggard. When she was satisfied, she went outside, then felt thirsty. She started looking at her surroundings, wondering where Kreiss is.

Sheloah called out his name but there was no answer. She rolled her eyes when she remembered that he told her to call for him when needed but there wasn't even a single reply.

"Kreiss, where are you? I'm thirsty," Sheloah said quite out loud but still there wasn't an answer. She sighed exasperatedly then started walking.

She noticed that there was one door that was slightly opened so she took a peek, and she saw Kreiss sitting on a chair.

What is he doing? Is it too important that he chose to ignore Sheloah instead?

She held the doorknob then slowly, quietly, opened the door for her entry. The moment she entered the room, she was flabbergasted to see how pretty the room was.

It was a white room that is wide. The windows were open and the room was completely filled with paintings.

Kreiss sat in front of a canvas as he was painting a portrait. While he was painting, Sheloah couldn't take her eyes off him. She found his movements elegant—majestic… every stroke he made with his brush took her breath away. Kreiss was even singing, which made him more stunning.

Sheloah couldn't move as she was too focused into watching his every movement—focused into listening to his singing. Kreiss was like a completely different person from last night. In front of his painting, he was a gentle, enigmatic person. There is something in his voice that can lure people in.

While Sheloah was busy watching him, she realized that the song that he was singing was "Your Guardian Angel" and for a person who is slightly aggressive, it was shocking for her to see that Kreiss also had a gentle side.

She was surprisingly turned on by the man before her.

Kreiss was painting a butterfly. The background was black and the butterfly's color was white. The flowers surrounding the butterfly were also white, and the grass was grayish-white. He wasn't finished yet with his painting, but it was already beautiful.

While he was singing, Sheloah felt more attracted to him. She felt goosebumps as he sang and her heartbeat also doubled its pace, but why? Why did he kidnap Sheloah?

What's his motive?

Kreiss started adding colors to the butterfly. For some reason, Sheloah just couldn't take her eyes off him. How can a guy like him be so calm? His voice was ironically gentle compared to his slightly rude and aggressive attitude.

He added more colors to the canvas and it seemed that he was almost done. While he was singing, Sheloah felt the emotions of the song. She may not know what those specific emotions are, but she really felt that somewhat…

Kreiss was hoping for something else.
